Ok thanks and I had no idea that was a possibility. But you and the previous poster said that, so I will take your word for it, even though the tires have a larger diameter than what is on there right now. Another tidbit for you is that the speedo is calibrated to the 265/75/16 tire size. A smaller...

Re: Spark plug time/millage?

Will the stock spark plugs really go 100,000 miles? Should I change them early considering I tow a camper? I am thinking the heat cycles and high rpm when towing would wear them more then normal driving? How do they look at 100k when some of you changed them? Mine have gone over 100k. They are on m...

Definitely go with a 16" wheel. The road to the racetrack is not bad whatsoever-I come across 2 wheel drive cars there all the time. There are some potentially sharp rocks that can be flung around or wind up embedded in a tire, but that is about the only real obstacle. The worst part about that...

2005 WHITE PF LE Reviving this old thread. I don't care if my Pathfinder is a 2005, there is no reason my paint should just be chipping off; it's very well maintained and regularly washed and waxed. I had a body guy say that it is simply due to a poor prep job at the factory. I painted the roof gut...

I'm running the OME on my '07. Finally ended up with camber bolts a few years ago (and new lower control arms) to help with alignment. The biggest thing to be aware of with OME, specifically their shocks, is the paltry 1 year warranty. I've had one fail on me & don't plan on ever using their sho...

We have a 2007 Pathfinder and a 2011 Xterra. Definitely different vehicles. Still haven't been able to sneak the Xterra off road because she won't let me, which is a shame. When we were test driving the Xterras, I made the mistake of driving one with a manual transmission. It took a lot of willpower...

I'd look at a wiring diagram. US service manual is available on this site, and while they won't be an exact match with your UK model, it should still help you narrow things down. It sounds like maybe you have a loose wiring connector somewhere. Worst case is that you have cut/broken wiring. Since th...

Bumping this thread with a question. Were there any moisture or leakage issues with these headlights? I've purchased a few headlight assemblies for other vehicles in the past and they almost all seem to be low quality Chinese junk that trap moisture. I would have to remove them, let them dry out, a...

........No smart phone, and no desire to have one, thanks. :) I hear you on that-wish I wasn't required to have one for work. I picked up this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B007XE5LTG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Very happy with it & very happy I can simply plug it...

Anyone use XM Radio? Need some input

Has anyone had any problems with programming changes and their factory XM? It seems that a few stations got moved around to higher numbers and the Nissan supplied XM tuner can't access them. A call to XM resulted in two options: get a new HU & new XM tuner, or order the part from Nissan. The Nis...

Re: Off Road badge

Where can i get one besides the dealer ? I've seen a couple online but they are resiculous prices, is $20/badge normal !?? How many are you looking for? I'm 99% certain I still have one leftover from a purchase for one of our members in Norway. I'll check this weekend, but you could have it for $5 ...

I've put about 96k miles on mine. That includes lots of highway (80mph+), lots of dirt roads in 4x4, massive elevation changes and a ton of extreme stop & go crap city driving. I'm at 16.xx (don't have the exact "xx" portion with me at work) mpg overall. Have you taken any highway trip...
