Me too, why do they fog up so easy? I've never seen mirrors like these.. (I owned a glass shop for many years, trust me). My T4R mirrors fogged easy too but the heating got rid of the fog quick. i'm curious about this too cuz i'd like to get heated mirrors on my truck. why it's not standard is beyo...

i had the lights a long time ago, but i'll swear by them. maybe other brands do the same or better, but for what they are, they're awesome.

the hi-beam output is one of my biggest complaints with this truck.

i had Hella 550s on my first truck, a '94 GMC Jimmy, and they were worth well beyond the $80 i paid for them. they were easily 4x's brighter than my brights were. i never had a reason to get them with either of my past 4Runner's but i'd consider getting them for my Pathy. i can't give the lights eno...

i would have gone for the leather upgrade solely so i could have heated side mirrors... dumbest package combo ever imo. me being a dumb consumer and not researching that before the purchase, i'd have both, but i ASSumed the truck came standard with heated side mirrors.

i had time this weekend to look over the front of the truck and there's definitely NOT a chance the lights would go anywhere on the bumper. the plastic is too thin and flexible. i did however, finally install a pair of Silverstar Ultras. i only had about 5min of time with them at night in 50/50 stre...

A guy from Car Domain got a set of those lights he never did put the HIDs in them, but he said he hated them, light output was worse than stock and the LEDs would fail in the Gaylo rings. I was thinking the same thing myself a while back... Is it possible to make a Projector replacment without all ...

Can this help in determinig what's behind (or over) the plastic? :) That helps! O0void, I would still mount it to the bumper. I just think that if you try to mount it to plastic that high up, the already flexible plastic would shake the crap out of the lights. You'll get far less vibration through ...

it was hard to explain but no, i'm not thinking of attaching them to that black plastic grille insert. it seems too 'soft' and pliable and i think it wouldn't be able to hold the weight and anything thrown it's way. plus, i don't think there's even room to screw the thing down on it. see the new pic...

need opinions about possible driving light mod

ok, since i can't really find a safari bar i like for my truck. i was thinking of getting a set of PIAA 2100 Driving Lamps and mounting them as shown in the pic (below). that grey box is a true size mock-up of the lamp size. it just fits. there'd be room so it wouldn't be packed in. so, i was thinki...

Re: Consumer Reports

i too saw this over the weekend and my thoughts are: 1. totally agree with you... have no clue what they're talking about and i figure they're comparing to a car or car based SUV/CUV 2. the second row is so-so in terms of roominess. compared to my T4R it's small, but the Pathy is on par, if not slig...
