oK , they are on ..... initial impressions .... front feel great ... just slightly stiffer than stock ..... rears .... not really happy !! I set them to 5 and they feel like worn out shocks .... jump up and down on the back and let go and it just keeps bouncing .... I set them to 8 and they feel lik...

The LE's could be set in AWD ... so you could daily drive in AWD , where the others were a 4x4 that was only to be used in slick or off road purposes ....

I went with the OE Rancho Off roads up front and the Rancho RS9000XL 9 way adjustable rears . Being able to adjust the stiffness in the rear seemed like a good setup for towing or hauling .... I will post once I get them on ....

I get parts at cost so I got all 4 under $400

'06 Off Road struts vs. Standard SE struts.....

The time has come to replace my front struts , I am trying to decide on running the stock SE struts or go with the Off Road Struts .... They are the same $$ ... so its all down to has anyone driven both ?? I would like a little stiffer setup ... I am going with the Rancho 9000 series 9 way adjustabl...

I change all my fluids every 10,000 miles ( oil every 3000 ) .... Use OE Nissan Coolant ..... 42K miles Have had no issues yet ... I just use a black paint pen .... Done a couple sets and it will last a while , but yea, you will have to re do them .....

Its a HUGE job !! I just did one on an '01 Path. VQ35 ... same basic setup ... Labor time on an '06 is 9 hours ... And yea, if you get it wrong you will destroy the engine ....!! Basically upper intake manifold, valve covers, front cover etc all have to be removed .... The key is in oil changes .......

Probably nothing , possible slightly better MPG ..... I didnt notice anything with mine ....still nice to have since I dont need to think about it , just clean every 20K ...

'06 SE now at about 40K .... Just did Front brake pads and rotors and the basic service stuff every 15K O/C every 3-4K ....I have done some upgrades, but other than that no issues at all ....

I just did the Akebono PRO ACT pads on mine ....way better than OE ... Also remember that the "OE" pads you buy at the dealer may not be the same pads that came on it from the factory !! I am not a fan of OE pads at all .... Have had awesome luck with the Akebono's and the Hawks ( to bad H...

Be aware that if you're spare is still a 16 you could have differential problems if you have to use the spare on the rear, or on the front also if 4wd. ... we have open diffs , so there should be no issues in running a different size tire on one for a short distance ... as long as you stay out of 4...

I did basicaly the same but with my SE ... went from the SE 16's to the LE 17's ....265-70-16 to a 275-60-17 .... All comes down to getting the right tire size !! You will probably want to use the TPMS sensors out of your '06 wheels ...
