It's worth checking the condition of your front body mounts - mounts that hold the frame and body of the vehicle together. You can access them by pulling away fender liners on the front. These wear out and will clunk ( sometimes squeak) when going over bumps at small speed. There is a thread about s...

I have done a similar mod a few months back - http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=6995&highlight=siren I think that location is perfect for siren controller, assuming it fits. I think if you go with smaller Sho-Me controller unit it will fit great and will be very accessible in that lo...

I also replaced my 2005 with 2010 a few years back because I could not find anything else I liked in this price range. Next time around I think I will get something else, but not really sure what exactly. GC is overpriced, 4runner is kind of weird looking, but I have 2+ years o figure it out.

Does this go away after 10-15 mins if highway driving? Just curious, as I had some similar issues and it was due to flat spots developing from sitting overnight, once the tires warm up things were fine. Also, I'm curious if that balancing machine is in good shape?

Unless you off-road frequently and actually use this jack, this mounting location is a bit inconvenient moving things in and out of the trunk area during normal vehicle use.

I had a set of moog links installed last year and one of them wore out in just 8 months. It started clunking, so I whet back to OEM units. I know that moog makes good stuff, maybe I just happened to get a defective one. From what I can tell - water and dirt got inside the boot, wearing our the joint...

I also think that at $45-50k range you want to see myself in BMW X5, not a Jeep. Jeep quality and resale value is just not there to justify these hefty price tags.

At these prices your fuel economy is irrelevant. You will never compensate for the money spent on the rig in the first place. Sure, additional torque is nice, but heck, not at $46K. In US diesel is always sold at a premium, unlike the rest of the world where it is an economy option.

Are you brake pads in good shape? If they are worn out, this could be the brake pad wear indicator - metal tab scraping on your rotors that gets close enough to touch the rotors after your break pad material wears out to very low thickness. Check your pads and report back.

If it vibrates 'sometime", maybe it's not u-joints? U-joins would cause high frequency vibration at 60+ speeds. If you have this symptom, then check your u-joints and in most cases when replacing these properly, you don't have to re-balance the drive-shaft. In my case it was so botched, they th...

If you have a hitch ball mount installed, that thing can make a very annoying rattle when going over the smallest cracks on the road, especially at slow speeds. The sound is hard to trace, since it travels through the frame once this heavy piece of steel starts rattling in your hitch receiver. I was...

Little LED lights zip tied to the bumper grille made my day. V8 SE badging is a nice touch too. It's hard to think of anything else you could possibly add to this thing.

As a matter of fact, euro diesel Pathfinders do have this issue. I look at one of the Russian forums - plenty of threads about this stuff. If you have auto tranny - you got the same problem.
