There is a way. But since its "just going to the junk yard", then you dont need to know how. Just call the junk yard, and they will pick it up with a tow truck.

Both of my pathfinders had heat shield rattles. Super easy to fix.

Anyone? Anyone? Engine codes !!! >>>> P1135 and

I just picked up an '01 Nissan Pathfinder SE the other day. I was getting a check engine light with "no codes". I did a code reset with a handheld, and then drove it around for a bit. Now the check engine light came back on, and Im getting a couple codes that are pending: P1135 Nissan - In...

Thanks for the info. Anyone else have any thoughts on the matter? I have the 3.3, and it seems to be pretty powerful @ 170 HP. Not sure what I would do with 250HP in the same rig. Im looking at picking up a 2001 SE 5 speed for around 1k. Not sure im going to get it though as it is green.

2001+ 3.5L Known Issues??
What is a common problem?

Please list the known issues with these models:

2000- 3.3 Auto

2001+ 3.5L 240 HP Auto

2001+ 3.5L 250 HP Manual

I see a lot of them for sale with blown head gaskets on the 3.5's. Is this a common problem?

I took 4 days to go from smashed to fixed. Had to replace a lot of parts including the radiator core support, hood, fender, A/C condenser, radiator, etc. I have wanted one for a very long time, so once I had it in my garage - I couldn't keep my hands off of it. It would have been done faster, but th...

The timing belt was replaced about 25K miles ago by the previous owner (a shop did the work). I hope they did the pump while they were in there. I will double check the rack and pinion rubber bushings, but there is no "play" in the steering. Its nice and tight. The only problem is the &quo...

The inner tie rod attaches to a metal bar. The metal bar has groves in it. Those groves are part of the steering system. Right where the inner tie rod attaches to that bar, there is "up and down" play when the steering wheel is turned back and forth. Side to side movement is what turns the...

New to the Pathfinder. Have some questions.

2000 Pathfinder LE, Auto with 4x4 I would like to raise the vehicle a few inches. Any easy way to do this? I have spring helpers that I can use on the front, but what about the rear? Rack and pinion might be bad, side to side clunk, clunk on bumps, and the rack itself has some side to side play (the...

Wanted a Pathfinder for 15 years. Now I got one.

Wanted one for a long time. Got this one for $250. Into it about $600 including the repairs and upgrades.

Here is the before, during, and after pics.
