I never use the auto option on mine either.
I figure you know when your gunna need 4wheel. And you can save the gas while its in 2 wheel drive.
Also I’m not sure how you drive, but lets say I often have my “slip” light blink at me and its not because I need to use 4wd

the 330 only has 225 or so hp and weighs almost 3400 lbs.
i'd say they are pretty close to each other until you get into the 70+ mph range. I happen to have a 328 also, and the torque from the truck can snap any one's neck of the line lol
