I think I have this same issue. I hear more of a rattler around 2200 rpm, not really sure of that is the same as the "worn lifter" sound that the OP was talking about. to those that have done the fix, how hard is it ? Are you basically just gluing the VIAS valve into place on the collector...

They didn't send me a notice, but when I went in to get my fuel level sensor fixed, they performed that recall as well.

All of my major problems happened this week

2006 LE , 64k miles

44k - Leaking crank case, seal replaced, dealer replaced u-joint as well. Warranty)
64k - Secondary timing chain tensioners ( $900)
64k - Fuel Sending unit ( Warranty)
64k - IPDM Relay replaced ( recall)
64k - new tires

My i35 has one and it does the same exact thing. I wonder how hard it would be to retro-fit it into a 2006LE. I am really missing that feature in the Pathy.
