The two front windows are very very slow to go up and down especially on these colder mornings. It's a 2007 Pathfinder so I'm sure the regulator needs to be replaced as this same thing happened to my '96 Maxima and once I replaced these the windows flew up and down. I've read somewhere that it's no...

Thats quite a distance. I personally would look for something closer. When I look for cars, I generally use Craigslist and AutoTrader. Not sure where in KS you are, but here's a quick search off of AT for the R51 https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/Nissan/Pathfinder/Topeka+KS-66612?makeCodeList...

I think a 2003 would have a VQ engine if I'm not mistaken and would have respectable HP. The 96-? would have the VG which is a bulletproof engine, but is sluggish performance wise. It's an old engine too. I had a 87 and a 88 Z that had that engine :)

So just updating this thread. The Aisin fluid quieted down the transmission a bit after changing the fluid. It was blue. Old fluid was really dark, reminded me of dirty motor oil. Anyhow, it was easier than an oil change. A 19mm socket on the pan on drivers side and a measuring bucket underneath so ...

It could be that the amp in the headunit itself went bad. There is a small one built-into all headunits regardless of make/model which is why sometimes when speakers are upgraded, the sound enhancement is minimal. The headunit limits the power output. Not sure how much a used stock stereo would go f...

Hey SMJ, I get that comment. What I found interesting is if you actually look at the terrain in the background, it changes per body style over the years. Either they were going with trends or pushing a trend. The "box" style ends as well which is unfortunate. I like the boxy look.

I actually haven't voted yet. I like the looks of all of them to be honest, but I'm tempted to vote for the R50 as well. It rides nice (probably cause the unibody), is pretty capable off road, and has minimal gadgetry to mess with. It hasn't aged too well looks wise in my opinion, but honestly, I do...

Pathfinder Evolution

This was saved from the Nissan site recently, but can't find the picture anymore. Anyhow, here's a quick evolution of the Pathfinder. Here are some sales figures over the years to go with the pictures as well - http://carsalesbase.com/us-car-sales-data/nissan/nissan-pathfinder/ https://i.ibb.co/bd8S...

I bought a bluetooth aux plug-in and it worked ok. The audio from the aux is decent. Not clear like a CD but a bit above FM quality. Crappy sound could have been because of a cheap BT adapter as well. Regardless, if you have an aux, you can use BT.

Glad to see there's some love finally coming to the 08+ versions. I just picked up a set of headlights so hopefully they'll last. The sealing on them was horrible, so I had to go around them with a bead of sealant.

I have a 2011 SV. It has auto mode. Maybe it was an option? The VIN checks out as being an SV as well and the 4WD indicator in the gauge cluster shows AUTO when it's turned to that setting. Do you have the word "AUTO" on your select knob for the transfer case? I do. 2WD, AUTO, 4-HI, &...
