Fear not...PRG took about 4 days to get back to me, and I am in California. Greg @ PRG wrote that their kits are in full production...the benefit of their setup is you can adjust the front coil to compensate for the lift you want, corresponding to the weight you add to the truck. When you are done, ...

Extended Warranty

Anybody purchase an extended warranty for their Pathfinder?

Getting near the mileage point, wanted to know what dealers are charging out there.

I think the worry about galvanic corrosion is a bit overkill...where are you living/driving?...What series of aluminum is it...is it anodized?...If you live on the ocean (seawater), it could be an issue. Saltwater/seawater is a good electrolyte for the process to occur... I would use nylon washers t...

Thanks for the info...and, yes, that all makes sense. I am very interested in exploring this further. Since the fronts are an adjustable coil-over, once you set the rear height, you can balance the front accordingly (assuming you don't increase the angle of the CVs by too much). I know the OME rear ...

So, if I am understanding this correctly, you are 1" higher in the rear (than with OME only) with the setup you now have, using the PRG spacer and the OME rear springs in combination?

How did you align it? Did PRG do the work?

Pics and Info @ your convenience please! :D

Re: V6 Se V8Se springs

I was looking over at Nissan's parts and I really hate the way the PF rear suspension cannot carry/ or to soft of the ride. I see the the V8 has different front and rear springs. does anyone know what the difference is? I thinking of going OME but do not want to hurt my Extended warranty Warranty s...

Sounds like custom may be the way to go.

Magnaflow offers a system for the Xterra and Frontier...I emailed them...

The systems should be very similar, right?

Not to sound negative or anything, but they (Calmini) don't seem to be in a hurry... Look at shrockworks.com for real tubing stuff. The more inquiries they get, the more likely they will put up a Pathfinder section. (hoping anyways) Myself and alot of members here have their sliders and skidplates.

Under the Pathfinder section it has a spot for bumpers, then says..."Coming Soon"

...so my guess is in house "test bed"...cosmetic, or a structural bumper, who knows?

Custom Exhaust

This topic hasn't been covered in a while...

What custom exhaust or mufflers are you all running...Gibson, etc.? Clamp on, welded, muffler only, or???

I know there isn't much available out there of our rigs, but just checking...also since the new V8 has been out for a while....

You got it...3M anti slip tape...sold in different width rolls (I got the 12") at www.mcmaster.com, or any industrial supply outlet. I had a hole (don't ask) and a gouge from backing into a rock outcropping. I sanded the bumper flat then stuck the tape on....it kinda has a bedliner look to it. ...
