Don't install seat covers on the front seats. You have air bags in both seats & a seat cover can change the way they deploy in case of an accident.
Just put the kids in the 3rd row seats & leave the 2nd row folded down.

I tow a 19' Cuddy Cabin boat that's 4200 # wet on the trailer & the Pathfinder doesn't breath hard, even on the hills in Seattle. I do keep the overdrive locked out. I did the air bags & added Rancho shocks on the rear just to firm things up. I also re-routed the breather lines from the char...

I've got an '06 LE that I bought with 5100 miles on it & now have 62k. I'm 6'3 / 235 # & love driving the rig. Seating is great. I did the trans cooler hose bypass - check the postings, it's easy to do - at about 45k & the car has been flawless. I even tow a 19' boat that weighs 4200 # w...

If you have a belt squeel, it may be the replacement belt. We have found that the ribs in aftermarket belts do not line up with the grooves in the pullys, causing the squeel. Nissan belts are the only ones that will not squeel.

Remember that in this country you can sue for anything - that's what keeps lawers in business. Also remember that he who has the best lawer wins - not who's right.
I agree that Nissan should step up & take care of this issue.

I'm 6'2" & clear mine fine.
Try pushing the hatch up & see how far it goes & how far it drops down.

My 06 LE has the towing package which includes the hitch mount receiver ( no ball mount ) & 4 pin flat plug in located under the left rear of the bumper. I understand all pathfinders have the aux. trans cooler. I would recomend you bypass the trans cooler in the radiator as discussed on other po...

First have an auto parts store check the code, then post it here & I will let you know what the code is for. Don't spend the $$ on a code reader unless you use it alot. It's not worth it for personal use. Second, take the gas cap off & reinstall it clicking it down 3-5 times. Then drive it a...

Check your sunroof drains. If they plug up, the water does'nt drain & gets into the headliner.
The besr way my shop does it is to find the drains under the car & run some weed whip line up from the bottom. DO NOT used compressed air or wire as it may damage the drain hoses.

In our shop we work on alot of Nissan Pathfinders / Xteras / Frontiers. They all seem to have excessive belt squeel when the weather is wet. It seems moisture colcets on the belt & pullys & causes a squeel until they warm up. also aftermarket belts don't work good because the grooves in the ...
