Yes most likey longer U & L control arms.
Not sure where you'd get or swap them in from though.

Another Idea I had looking at the setup, would be to add a lower connection point to where the lower control arm bolts in.

There are a few others on here from DFW area that I think would be down too. Maybe we'll start our own Lone Star Nissan Club and do our own adventure outing...

The size that doctahjones has on his (and a few others on this forum have as well) is a 33" x 11" tire.
They're big, but they fit!

OK I guess it solved itself! :)

Took a long road trip for the holiday packed full of the family's stuff.
And somewhere along the way, they settled down.
The rear is actually now a bit lower then the front.
(Which will be fixed when i get rid of the spacer and put in adjustable shocks)

Lifted and having rear alignment issues

I had the PRG 2" spacers F and R in the truck and even with the rear alignment maxed out it was always towed in a little. \----/ To solve the problem I purchased the 4x4parts.com HD springs. These should give my pathy a 2" (or so) lift. But the same problem exists. Do they make longer lowe...

We need to get a bunch of Dallas Area Nissan guys together for one of those trips!

Good for chevy for keeping some capable vehicles in their lineup. Maybe Nissan will notice before it's too late!

I'm at 14.5 right now with the new Volo12 chip driving around town. It was worse! So I'm hoping that it'll continue to get a little better. :)

I'm definately not a hardcore off roader, but I've started to use the manual shift modes (in a previous truck as well) to help me from getting stuck. Here are a few things that have worked for me in the past: 1. Semi-Deep Mud: 4 Lo - 2nd Gear (just learned about this one) 2. Up a steady incline on a...

Hundreds of 4x4 Videos

I just came across this site and wanted to share:
http://www.4x4earth.com.au/tv/

It's two TV shows that air "down under" and feature the off-road lifestyle!
Lots of cool rigs getting dirty in these videos!

What gears do you use off-roading

I heard recently that when traversing some serious mud, one should use 4 lo and keep it in 2nd gear.

That got me thinking that maybe some of the more hardcore off-road guys on here might be able to give some advice to the noobs about what gears to use and when.

Lord Farquaad - So just by pushing the HDC button, you get that symbol on the dash telling you its ready? NVSteve - Does yours work the same way? Or does yours just light up when you got the truck into the right conditions and it activiated? I'm just trying to see what to expect if I hook up the swi...
