I have this same issue. youcan buy tin or window deffoger repair kit and fix the the metal traces. Another alternative would be a new outside antenna. If you do so make sure it plugs into the amplifier first (#1 in diagram) otherwise you will end up with poor reception. Last would be to buy a new in...

Yes your photo link is viewable. The leak does not appear to be coming from that mount plate. Your lines have Trans oil on them and could be coming from a hose connection further up? could it also be Trans oil you spilled when you filled or during the change ?

motor mounts do not cause rough idle. Old or bad spark plugs, plug boots, bad ignition coils and vacuum leaks do. Continued driving with a miss will ruin your cats because raw fuel is being dumped. Good luck .

Did you inspect the bottom part of all the coils? (long piece) where they replace also? they tend to crack when not removed carefully or deteriorate over time, also check the rubber pieces that attach. A hair line crack is all that is needed for the spark to jump to ground and misfire. Avoid driving...

Don't sweat it. Not even the Nissan techs are able to properly seal the air box, not one in all the times I have had complementary inspections of the filter. I have to come home and do it myself.

That appears to be the water valve for the rear heater core. I am looking at that broken piece and can not believe that is exactly were mine broke a few months back while parked. Mine is the XE model therefore does not have rear heater, so it was the valve for the front heater. The SE must have an a...

I can vouch for the tranny being very good; I am at 225,000 and have only done two drain and fills at 100,000 intervals. Runs and shifts like the day I bought it. The bypass I did at 70,000, never had a problem ans still have the original radiator

Nissan techs and air box lid

Why is it that in my last ten years of owning three Nissans (Pathfinder, Armada, & Quest) not a single time when I have had any of them for any service has the service tech who opened the air filter box to inspect the filter has ever been able to put it back properly and when I mean properly tha...

First question is how old is the battery? did you have it load tested? Charging voltage is going to be around 14.2V At cold start up with no load; then depending on load demand the ECU controls the voltage ranging from 13.5 to 14.2V. ....If you can remove the alternator I would just have it rebuilt ...

Second time around spark plug change

Well my Pathy turned 212,000 and over the weekend did my plug change; this time I did not remove anything to get to the passenger side plug under the plenum; just a little maneuvering of the coil and separating it before pulling it out in between the plenum and valve cover; If you ever read my post ...

Re: Nissan air filters

How is the quality with Nissan engine air filters? My 2012 had a Fram when I bought it and once we get out of this Northeast cold snap I will most likely be ready for a new one? Are the R51 Pathfinder Nissan factory filters oil covered or dry? Ask for the "Value" air filters at Nissan; th...
