"REPLACE not inspect" at 30K is a premium maintenance service and
unless you tow, use a camper, or drive in rough or muddy roads the differential oil should be replaced at 30K intervals, otherwise there is no mention in the maitenance manual to replce the differential fluid. :?:

The differential fluid is synthetic (at least in the 05 it is) should last many thousands of miles. I am at 140,000 and thinking about doing my first drain and fill at 150,000...will see what that looks like.

Included are a very nice Shorelander single aluminum trailer and a original cover for the ski. I also just purchased a br...

I drove my 05 for over 30k miles with the gauge pegged like that until about a month ago that I decided to replace it and now it's working perfectly ...

I'm pushing 130,000 miles and have not once drained and refilled the rear diff. Since it's synthetic I'd figure it should last longer. Either way this is on my to do list once this heatwave goes away. 8)

Is it necessary to remove the botom plate and lower shroud? couldn't this be done by just removing the upper shroud? or does the upper shroud not come out unless the botom is removed. I guess I have not looked in the engine bay to determine this. :?:
