They've sold over 700k Pathfinders and Xterras since 2005. If half the Frontiers have the V6, that's another 300k. That's just US and Canada numbers! So I would say it's well over 1M world wide.

I dunno...I'm in mine an hour each way for my commute every day and when it's acting goofy there's no getting around it. Ironically, it's been working pretty well so far this winter. Knock knock.....

I think the radiator fluid usually looks bad too, but I suppose if it's early on maybe just a little bit has slipped into the transmission. I'd check asap! Otherwise it might be something electronic or a sensor on the transmission. Regardless, get that radiator bypassed before it does go bad!

When I had my airbag recall performed, that was the only time I was back to the dealer as well. After sitting around in their shitty waiting room for an hour or so and I was really wishing I had just bought the part and done it myself in 15 minutes. I take my wife's Acura to the dealers sometimes bu...

My "06" Toyota 4Runner had a sunroof and they were known to have sunroof issues. It was the only thing that malfunctioned in 200,000 miles of ownership. One day I hit the open button and one side pulled and one side did not! So it twisted in the track stuck half way open! I managed to get...

 the only time mine get opened is to just exercise it, make sure it still works, and check the lube on the tracks i'd have opted for no moonroof if that had been an option at the time, but the package it came with was worthwhile otherwise Same here. I used to open it every so often just to kee...

The idea of cutting a hole in my roof...I dunno. I'd have to find a shop with a great reputation for doing the work and hopefully there's a decent guarantee with it. A shoddy sunroof can really destroy a nice vehicle in a hurry. I have a factory moonroof in my PF that hasn't been opened in 3 years. ...

Yeah, my memory was way off on that. They were swapping Armada gears. It was just the ratios that were the same between the Armada and V6 PF. I wouldn't mind driving a PF with this mod. When I was buying mine, the V8 didn't feel any stronger than the V6. Actually less gutsy at passing which is impor...

The Off-Road really doesn't add much that you can't add yourself. The '08 has some nice updates like the LCD screen, backup cam, BOSE, along with interior/exterior tweaks. Also, the '08+ are more reliable just due to them being around longer. Regardless, make sure you look closely at the radiators. ...

There's been some V8 guys swap in a V6 differential to get a taller gears. I don't think they've had any strength problems.

You'll need a Torx bit (27mm or 30mm, forget which) to get the valve out.

I remember back when I worked for Nissan that sometimes the outside temp sensor would get dirty on some vehicles and might affect the readings. For those, we would take a rag with some white vinegar and clean off the sensor "bulb." Do you know where that's located on the PF? I've never fo...

I recall using a pretty long breaker bar on the rear lowers....and that was when my PF was pretty new. Hoping my Bilsteins never need replacing!

None. Drove 60 miles today with a lot of around-town mixed in and not a peep. If this one lasts 140k miles before making noise, I don't think I'll complain.
