I was really disappointed in purchasing Kirkland a couple of years ago (seemed to burn off quite a bit) and have stuck to the M1 since.
Sad to hear but good info.

Re: Oil Change 5 miles ago : )

you are a hero! Interesting that you've dropped into the 0W-40 category. This oil has "Nissan Genuine Performances" approval on the M1 Website. Unsure what this specifically means. In that 0W spec, would it have a higher detergent package to goes with? I'm assuming that Euro specs drive t...

Oil Change 5 miles ago : )

With Mobil 1, 0w-40. Originally was not a fan of either M1 or any oil with that big a spread. But M1 has gone back to PAO base lube stocks in past decade and the new (as in past 5 yrs) 0w-40 apperantly has such a good base stock it does not need much VII ( viscosity index improvers) to spread all th...

Re: Washer Pump Motor - Nissan Part #28920-7S000

Wow so you were able to just find the pump?
When I had my R51 pump replaced it was with reservoir...
Pump does seem that great IMO since the squirt seems a bit light to me on that unit..

Re: Loss of power in 4low going up steep hill

12600 feet is a lot of altitude for a non turbo engine. Having said that, a loose sensor connection or a sensor going out comes to mind. Like a camshaft postions sensors. Yours are probably about due anyway. I had them go out on my V6 NIssan Xterra (identical powertrain to yours except for driveshaf...

Only short time though no long term camping or homelessness  BUt as i am heavy I feel as if I am breaking the plastic a bit. for a regular sleep arrangement definetly a sheet of plywood to remove high pressure points that could crack the plastic. and...

Re: Replace stock sus with Moog/Bilstein?

I replaced the rear shocks and front struts; Here is a list of Moog part numbers and shocks (and alot of other things) that I used to rehab my older Pathfinder. Keep in mind, mine is a V8 model so part numbers may be different as mine has a higher curb weight than yours (I assume yours is a V6 as th...

Re: Just a RAVE to my 09'

My Daughter just moved away to another province for College. We took our Pathfinder, packed it with all her personal items that she wanted to bring, even put a ski box on top and packed it full as well. 2800 kms total trip, through the Rockies in both directions and it was an almost flawless trip. ...
