stock shocks up front, so far so good.

Running an adjustable rancho in the back, made for the front of a 1 ton chevy van, plus the airlift bags for the Kia Sorento.

I got my springs from www.shox.com

I am averaging about 15.5 mpg in my V8, decent mix of city/highway. Considerably better than the truck from what I have read. It is a 2wd, though.

It is a 2wd. I had a blow out a few months ago and have been running the spare, so the TPMS light has been on for a long time. Figured I was used to seeing it so I didn't worry about the sensors for now. I barely even notice it anymore. Big brakes would be nice, just not in the budget right now. It ...

did some freeway driving last night. Smooth as butter, even with no rings. I mean, it still has that same crappy shudder on road imperfections, but no vibration in the wheel from not being in balance.

yup. H&R springs with a coil cut all around and helper bags in the back. Rides great. WOuld look good a little lower, but this is about as low as you can go without really cutting or sacrificing the ride.

22x9.5 Liquid Metal Wingmans with 265/40 Kumho STX. Haven't driven it yet, just bolted them on.

No hub rings, but if it needs them, I'll turn some out of delrin on the lathe.

More later, just wanted to get the pics up. I'm pretty pleased with how it looks.

suspension install is pretty much brainless.

Alignment, on the other hand, leaves lots of opportunity for errors.

Agree. Not something we should be getting in this level of SUV... It's on my list of things to fix, though...

Really, now that I have the suspension sorted out how I like it, that is my last complaint.

bear with me as I am not a real big car audio guy... Do they make a DVD/NAV head unit without a monitor? If so, get that, have it installed in the cubby in the center consloe then add the PAC video input to the existing monitor, and output the DVD/NAV to that. Like I said, not a car audio guy, but t...

I have some ranchos 9000 shocks now. They are at the full stiff setting and work pretty well. Unfortunately, it brings to light that the rear springs, even the H&Rs are just too soft. Helper bags are ordered and will be here Monday. I went with the Kia Sorento kit as they have the 8" height...

I'd love to bag it, just don't want to deal with the headache. Been thru it before. I just want a firm controlled ride this go around. I think I found a decent solution for the rear shocks in the form or a Rancho 9000 adjustable. Gonna order them today and see how they work out. I put some Monroe ma...

sorry if that wasn't clear. Yes, H&Rs installed on all corners. One coil cut in back and 1.5 in front. The coils that are cut are the dead coils. Dead coils are the coils that sit completely on top of each other when loaded and have no effect on spring rate, only ride height. But if anyone gets ...

I'm working on a solution for the shocks. The rear will be easy as there are a number of shock available. The front, not so much, but I will find something. So far, it rides and handles fine with stock shocks. The springs aren't much stiffer than stock at all, just lower, but I did lose the boat han...
