http://www.tylaska.net/pics/lowpf.jpg That is with one coil cut off the rear and one and a half off the front. Front sits about a 1/4 inch higher than the rear. All the bumps stops are pulled right now till I can get smaller ones on. And this is probably about as low as you can go without cutting o...

H&R lowering springs installed...

Kicking myself for not taking before measurements, but... Measures out to be 1.5"s lower than the rear which still has the stock springs in. I was hoping to get more drop as the springs were made for a V6, but the drop seems to be right at the top of the advertised range. I don't want it dumped...

Titan/Armada is 6x139.7 (5.5)

PF(R51), Frontier and Xterra are 6x114.3 (4.5)

No idea why they don't make them all the same...

Fuel economy went from 19 to 21 on the freeway. Freeway was really the only thing I noticed. But it was definitely from the intake. I never saw 21 before, which was significant because that is what my 2003 5.3 Tahoe would get and I was frustrated only seeing 19ish from this thing(but figured all the...

http://www.tylaska.net/pics/PFintake.jpg First thing was to cut about 2.5" off the end of the intake. A shorter filter would do the same thing. Second was to drill a new hole for the intake to mount to on the heat shield(you can see the original hole and the new hole where the nut is). Third w...

I have the Titan cold air in my truck. I can sell you one already modified if you like... It really doesn't take all that much to make fit right.

Pretty good gains from the seat of the pants. 9.3 @ 74 in the 1/8th mile with it as my only mod. Never ran stock, though...

I have had some cheap ebay brand HIDs in my stock headlights for about 6 months... I just aimed them down a tick and was good to go. Had lots of people drive in front of and next to me (as well as riding next to it while somebody else was driving the PF) and always asked them about the glare and non...

and with the stock suspension on this thing, I don't think I would feel real comfortable going that fast anyway. I think I have seen 90 in mine... it's just too softly sprung to go much faster in.

V8 1/8 mile time...

Got bored sunday, took the PF to the local 1/8 mile. Only makde one pass. Was expecting something in the high 9s, maybe a 9.70... Left at about 1500 rpm, VDC off, no wheel spin, clicked off a 9.3@73.94 mph... holy crap! Was pretty surprised. I have an intake on it as the only mod. I think I can get ...

On my way down to Austin from Fort Worth, about 200 miles, I set the cruise to 69-71 and averaged 21 mpg. With the little bit of driving I did while down there, and the trip back up, I ended up with about 20.5 for the 450 mile trip. I think this thing will get decent milage, I just need to keep my f...
