Electrical Fan upgrade

I was talking with a couple of friends at work and the subject of taking out the belt fan and throwing in an electrical fan in our vehicles came about. I know this can be done for a pretty reasonable price but some info is needed: How much air flow is need? Would a single large fan setup or a dual f...

My Path sounds like damn super powered box fan when I start it up, even in the winter. When rolling around town it seems a bit loud but I figured it was kinda designed to not run hot...I guess I will have to check it out. Would something like this effect fuel economy?

Well, I got back from my patrol and got in the pathy, flipped it in reverse, it made the clicking noise twice then stopped. The vehicle is still driving normal. Took it to Nissan since I needed an oil change and rotation anyway. The tech said everything looked fine and the couldn't get to a root cau...

This is my first 4wd vehicle and I do not have any tools where I currently live so Dealership it will be when I get back from the wild Blue Yonder. The drive shafts are pretty red (rusted?) so I am hoping that is it which should be relatively cheap ?

I am not an expert with car alt's but an upgraded ALT would generally mean it is capable of a higher current draw (Amperes) to facilitate the extra load (yoru system). i think most Alternators range max is about 15.5vdc.

the boot seems good, it seems like the clicking is coming from the inside of the case. I will be out of town for a couple of weeks so I will try and do research while away and take it to a dealer when I get back.

Weird Clicking noise

Hello all, For some odd reason today my PF developed a weird clicking noise on the highway. I left boston this morning to head back north to my house, about an hour away. When I got to my area and turned the music down, I noticed a weird clicking noise. It is definitely speed related and not gear re...

How much space do you think is in the back of those rear wheel panels. i also have the rear a/c but have been thinking of throwing an 8" or 10" subwoofer (if it will fit) and mounting it in one of those panels to supplement a system I may want to try and throw in this summer. Good look in ...

More information on your setup would help in tracking down the cause. Something could be grounded out causing your battery to have an extra load on it meaning you have to have the jump in order to be able to start everything else up. If you get your battery tested as good maybe try and start the car...

Those things are a pain, I blew one on my old prelude that I guess ran the fuel pump and was able to find it at advance. I had to hot wire across just to get there though. Sometimes those box stores actually have some good stuff.

Was your car struck by lightning or close to a lightning stirke? Maybe the lightning induced a voltage somehow into your amp and fried a filter? Sounds wierd. If the amp was unplugged and it didn't come on then you definitely have the culprit( I think). The tweeter was probably just an effect from i...

I am glad I got my pathy when I did. I have an 05 but have less than 50,000 miles on it and have the bypass done.
