Few months ago, I got the same vibration in my 05 PF. Turned out to be a destroyed U-Joint. I changed both U-Joints and that fixed all my problems. Have a close look at the U-Joints and check if they have any damage. Mine were bone dry and rusted right out with chunks of metal missing.

I wish my dealership charged $25 for an oil change. The dealers in Vancouver won't even look at you for less than $39.99 plus taxes. Heaven forbid you want synthetic. That oil change will run you around $79.99 or more. That's why I do it myself.....

I think I'm going to do half vaccuum and half gas tank. Here are the directions straight from the seafoam website. Cleaning Varnish and Carbon Deposits - Fuel Injected Engines To clean carbon and varnish deposits from the tops of cylinders and the backs of intake valves, add 1 oz. Sea Foam to each g...

I run synthetic (Mobile 1) in my PF as I have in all my previous vehicles. I change my oil every 7000 kms and I have never, ever had any issues with any of my vehicles. Regular maintenance is GOD. It costs a lot less to do it regularly, than to fix problems AND do maintenance on top of the problems....

I just bought a bottle of SeaFoam yesterday. I will try it next weekend. I've had friends of mine use it on their cars and they've noticed a significant difference. SeaFoam has been around for over 50 years so they must have been doing something right.

I'll post my results.

I've had the tranny fail and luckily it ONLY cost me $1200 to get it replaced with a brand new one. My dealership was awesome in helping me out. But as soon as the warranty is over, I'm doing a bypass. My tranny fluid was nice and red, and the only clue to the tranny failure was a vibration noise at...

I've been reading this thread for a few weeks now, but never had any rattling issues of my own. Just a week ago I heard my first rattle so I slid under the PF and ended up taking off six rotten bands. I live in Vancouver and these things are rotting due to all the rain/water/salt that's around here....

What kind of weight do you carry in the back. Maybe the weight and bad shocks are the combination that's making your truck bottom out. I've carried a LOT of weight in the back of mine and I've never had these issues.

I would definitely have a look at the shocks.

+1 for the crate. Regular dog barriers will not protect you or your dog when you slam on your brakes at 80mph. The dog will become a projectile and take out the barrier, your head and then the front window. The crate is the right way to go.
