2008 V6 question

Hey guys.. quick question my niece has a 2005 Xterra with the V6 / automatic transmission. Last week a quickie lube shop replaced her u-joints and now last night her car wont hardly move. Cranks up ok, put in in drive and it stumbles and makes a drilling sound; it will move some but barely. I hope i...

Power Steering Hose

wonder if someone has fixed this before and has a part number. 2006 PF V6 Auto 4.0 The power steering hose that comes from the resevoir and goes under the battery and connects to a metal line is leaking. It's not the one that goes back down toward the pump. It seems to be fastened well on the resevo...

Thanks for the replies! Today I took the front right tire off and removed the fender well. I was actually able to loosen and remove 2 of the 3 bolts on the exhaust shield and move it up. I was able to get a wrench on the 3 bolts on top and loosen them as well as the two on the bottom and think I can...

Oil change

My 06 is due for an oil change and I do it myself. I always remove the front small spoiler ( 5 10mm bolts ) then 4 10 mm bolts on the front part of the skid plate and the two bolts on the rear part of the skid plate.

Im missing a few; does anyone know what size bolts these are?

P0420 Code

Hey Guys,

2006 PF, V6 Automatic...153,000 miles. Last week the SES light came on. I took it to Autozone where they scanned this code P0420 Bank 1 Catalytic converter going bad.

They priced me a Walker for $225.00. Question is, how hard is this to install?. Showing 4 bolts.

Thanks in advance.

Power Steering Fluid leak

Changing the oil in my 06 PF yesterday and I noticed what seemed to be a small amount of fluid on passenger side right below power steer resevoir. Feeling the hose that comes from the bottom had some fresh fluid, although the resevoir was still at the full mark. Seems the hose ends into an aluminum ...
