Good question. I don't have an answer, but I've seen replacements here and there. Cheap imitation ones: http://www.audiovideo2go.com/nissan-pathfinder-single-channel-ir-wireless-headphones/ Pricey authentic ones http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-NEW-Wireless-IR-Nissan-Pathfinder-DVD-Headphones-headrest-Soun...

Damn, Dropbox now prohibits external linking. That's probably an issue for a lot of my pictures now. Will report back and fix the original post when I have a fix.

That's normal in 4WD. Diffs are locked, wheels aren't turning at the same speed. I got confused about this as well because I was used to an AWD system. Not the same as 4WD. Only use 4WD then you're afraid of getting stuck, of if you're actually driving on very slippery surfaces. Ice, snow, massive r...

Well I'll be damned. I never even thought to look there. Cheaper than getting them off eBay for $129 US and having them shipped.

They don't have a set of 4 the same colour anymore though. Will have to look into that. Thanks for that tip!

Good info. I've seen 2 different styles of headlights for the frontier I think. Presumably both styles should then work with the older pathfinders?

Yeah agreed, I don't think that service contract will work. But depending on mileage, you might still qualify for the nissan warranty repair.

I went through the extended Nissan warranty program. There's a buy-in (in my case $1500 canadian) but they replaced the transmission, and all the cooling components plus some minor driveline things.

From what I can tell, as long as you're within the same year, most of the front end is interchangeable. Recently saw a guy local with a frontier bumper and headlights on his pathfinder. He got the car like that, when I asked him about it. Car probably had a smashed front end.

Mine is pretty much solid like a tank in the snow. And we do get a decent amount of snow up here in Canada. Snow, slush, muck, ice... mix of everything at the same time. Mine's a 4WD tough, with proper all season mud and snow rated tires. That being said, if I'm being stupid, I can still break it lo...
