It could be that one of the devices plugged in had a malfunction. Its also possible that something like a coin or other metal thing fell into one of them and shorted them out. Try replacing the fuses, with all of the devices plugged in, if they pop immediately, you have a short somewhere. Which mean...

I believe they are of the "pull and pray" variety. I'll take a look at my truck when I get home tonight (she's not my daily driver)

I think they just snap on and pull off, but they take some finessing, and there may be a screw in the seat release where the strap comes out of

wicked easy, pop it out of the door, unscrew and unplug the old switch from the trim plate, screw the new one onto the trim plate, plug it in, slap it back in the door

yes, you just use the alcohol pad, clean out the channels, peel off the tape backing, and then just stick them in the channel.

I grabbed power off of the trailer brake connector inside the truck under the dash (there's a wire in it for parking lights), from there I ran it through a switch on the dash, (mounted it in the knockout next to the mirror controls) and then out to a relay under the hood. That controls the fog light...

you have power out of the relay but no power at the hitch connector?

that is true, those are not rivits actually, they are pegs that are molded into the door panel parts, and then melted over using a "sonic welding" process. You can, however grind those down using a reamer, seperate the panels, cover the fabric in leather, and then put them back together us...
