I would check for play in the ball joints as when they start to wear out they begin to creak. They will not do it all the time.

Thanks for setting up the pictures and diagrams. I did my bypass today it was so simple. I also took the opportunity to clean up and repaint my skid plate. Its amazing what salt and winter conditions do to metal!

I could not get any from my dealer either. Reading what I have been know I guess I should have bought some amsoil instead of using J-Matic to refill my tranny.

I have had two of them break off one under the drivers side rear door on the exhaust and the rear near the spare tire. Thanks Canadian Winters!

It was not mentioned, even with AWD (all wheel drive) or 4WD not all four wheels get power when slippage occurs. Without a limited slip differential or locker most 4x4 or all wheel drive systems will give power to only two wheels (ever watch a plow truck in the winter with non lockers its pretty fun...

If you have an autowrecker close to where you are check and see if they have any damaged 2006 and up pathfinders and take the ones from that vehicle if they have not been taken already, might be cheaper than the stealership.

That is too bad that it is that expensive. Did you check the autoparts places for cost, sometimes they will have the replacement part for less than the dealer. I know that buying parts is not cheap in Ontario

The system is suppose to do a self reset if there is a problem with pressure. You have to drive the vehicle at over 40 mph for a short period of time for the system to read the pressure.

I know that many GM products using dex-cool coolant (orange colour) where having problems with the water pumps and gaskets going bad and many people said the same thing that the coolant was harsh and causing the problem. But as far as I know the Nissan comes with green coolant[/quote]

Sounds like it could be a resistor problem with your blower motor. The resistor is used to control the fan speed. The number 4 setting is the fan running with no resistance. I would check the resistor before anything else.
