I haven't looked in a while, but the service manual used to be a sticky. I've had that downloaded and sitting on my PC at home for many years & it has proven to be an invaluable resource for all those part names and numbers.

So are you saying stay away from HID/xenon style? I was looking at these and then just replacing the H1 with HID H1's. Thoughts? http://www.carid.com/2005-nissan-pathfinder-headlights/spyder-projector-headlights-15321065.html Those are pretty much the same ones I bought and installed a number of ye...

Dont you mean upwards of 55? Yeah, 40 isn't very hot. What everyone needs to remember is the interior temperature of the vehicle, which will be hotter than the exterior temp. Even where I live, if the outside temp is 40-ish, the interior will be well above 55. How fast the interior temp can be redu...

It's not hard to replace; just remove the hose, disconnect the electrical connector and twist to remove from the canister. The "upgraded" vent control valve is also available on the aftermarket from Standard Motor Parts, among others, and you can get it at Rockauto.com. Dorman still offer...

Oh yeah. He took off, and ended up coming back. I work in the pizza shop that's across the street. He was trying to park so he can come in to pick 70 food. He ended up coming back in 10 minutes later after one of my delivery drivers caught up to him. I had many not so nice words to tell him. He was...

I'll be replacing my valve sometime in the next week or so. Looked around at various posts related to the filter kit & it doesn't seem worth it. I also stumbled upon a huge number of posts detailing the installation/replacement & it sounds pretty easy to do, but we'll see when I start on it....

Re: Decision comes down to treadlife

So I've done a ridiculous amount of research trying to decide between Duratracs or ATKO2. My decision comes down to tread wear now. For my driving I'm pretty evenly split between the two. Does anyone have first hand numbers on tread life on one or the other? Or better yet, between the two? Thanks, ...

My "new to me" 07 LE in Cloud White is doing this too. I ordered some Duplicolor spray touch up paint but figure in the long run it will end up cracking again because of the joint movement with temp changes. I know everyone has been talking about bedliner but I didn't see any mention of P...

Re: Where to order OME in US

I have tried the search function with no luck so please don't blast me :) I am trying to order OME suspension lift for my 2012 PF. I have checked out the rocky-road website but they state that they do not recommend the ome lift for PFs in North America. They told me the parts will not fit right and...

For best results is to find a cheap projector headlamp assembly and replace the h1 low beam with hid bulbs. Might be nesssary to modify the cut off plate to get a clean cut off line. I agree. Not sure which ones I got off carID, but they are still working quite well. I took them apart before instal...

Re: 2011 Frontier washer fluid nozzle

I have a 2005 pathfinder and my Dad's 2011 Frontier's driver side spray nozzle has no fluid coming out. the passenger side is fine... any idea what might cause this or fix? How cold is it where you live? That's happened to me about 4 times already this winter, only on the driver side. Once everythi...

Can't hurt to try to clean that, I guess. That and the inside sensor to see if it makes any difference. Thanks, guys! You can give it a shot. There really isn't anything to clean on the outside sensor that would make any difference. If anything, disconnect it from the wired plug and make sure it is...

So, it sounds like there's nothing that can be done about it? Not really. The way the system works is that if 73F is dialed in, it will blast hot/cold air until it reaches that 73F. If the temp inside is 72F & 73F is dialed in, it will not blast when trying to reach 73F-usually the lowest fan s...

1. Sensitivity of the panic button on the key fob. It's midnight and I'm getting home from work late. I bend over to untie my shoes with the keys in my pocket and the alarm starts screaming in the driveway. Happens every time. Happens to me too once in a while, until I got a cover for the key fob. ...
