Oh, I know I'm way out of warranty on this one. Fortunatly I did the bypass at about 14k & have never had a problem. I know Nissan won't step up & cover anything. I had the cats fail at 86k when the coverage was good untill 80k. They woulen't even cover any part of the $2500.00 cost. I did h...

I use a Weathertech mat, but I cut slits in the mat so the cargo hooks stick thru. Then I use a cargo net to hold things down.

05patheyse: I installed my Hella's behind the grill & since I only wanted them on with the high beams, I ran my trigger wire to the high beam fuse.
Now they only come on with the high beams & no headache of routing wires inside & having a mis matched switch.

If I remember right from my days with Nissan, the updated recall part is a complete pump and sending unit assemblyl. Check Courticy Nissan on line & find out the part #. It is also possible for the high pressure hose to rot or come loose. Unfortunatly both repairs require draining & dropping...

There was an open recall for a fuel pump / sending unit on these cars. There is also an o ring seal ontop of the pump / sending unit. The thank can be empty and still show 1/4 tank.
Call the dealer with the vin & see if the recall still applys to your vehicle.

I'm wondering if the noise isnt from worn timing chain guides. Seems early for them to wear out. Is the noise from the front of the engine ??

I checked o2 simulators & many other sources. No one makes a fake o2 sensor for the pathfinder that I can find.

The primary cats went out on my 06. Cost me $2400.00 at the dealer to replac all 4. The dealer tech says the engines run better with out the cats so maybe I should have gutted mine, The problem with that is the check engine light stays on because the front & rear 02 sensors get the same reading,...

I did the same conversion about 2 years ago. I used the Hella 5000's & a Grillcraft mesh replacement. I did wire them into my high beams. Last Saturday night I went over Sonora pass on Highway 108 in CA st 11:30 p.m. They made all the difference. Since the stock hightbeams suck, these made it po...

Bring it on. I'd love a pair of secondary cats. The only problem I see is that my o2's are in front of the primary cat & to the rear of the secondary cat. Wouldn't that cause a check engine light to coem on ?

<t>Ok, I'm trying to use the fog lamps as DTRL's. I' ve found that on the fuse for the fog lights, when you pull the fuse the top pin is hot & the bottom is cold. If you run power to the bottom pin, the fog lights come on.<br/> I found a wire in the fuse box that is switched. I think it's white ...

Well, the car is back after $2900.00. The tech showed me the cats & what a mess. The passenger side primary cat was completly hollow & the secondary cat was so plugged no air would flow thru it. The driver side primary cat was starting to brake up, so they replaced both cats on the left side...

Well, the dealer called last night with the bad news. They say that all 4 cats need to be replaced at a cost of $2800.00. They say that because the PVC vacume hose broke, that caused an over rich condition dumping raw fuel thru the cats causing them to fail. I wish I could just get rid of the cats. ...
