Have you tried looking for Rancho shocks? they're stock on the SE-Off Road, and can come with VDC. They'll also give it a small lift!

did you go in reverse for about 3.3 feet (1 meter) before shifting from 4H to 2H?

I'd say do the work.

these are very very reliable trucks and pretty easy to work on.

it just sounds like normal maintenance that has been neglected for a bit.

Has anyone had problems with their window switches? My problem is that the passenger side windows can go down when the button is pressed but won't wind up using the driver's switch, but sometimes the windows just won't respond at all. I've been into nissan trucks ever since I set my eyes on my uncles '89 PF, I eventually bought it when I got my license.

the E38 is my 007 car, and sold my E36 in april to pick up an E31.
