i replaced mine early this year with superbright white LED bulbs. it was a PAIN!!. you have to remove the rear interior panel and have some bendy arms to get up into there. watch the plastic clips when you put it all back together - they are kinda easy to break if they don't get into the holes corre...
I played a bit with the latter today, and it appears that it'll do it even if not on cruise, just be going down hill at least 45-50MPH, apply the brakes gently and let them off again and it'll downshift to 4th from 5th by it's self to try and maintain speed. i've found this to be the case too. I do...
MTBPATH--> no, that cargo cover is a mystery. no one in this area has it on their list. friggin NISSAN, the put knock outs and notches for it and every other one of their SUVs has a cover.
i wasn't really happy at all with my Gibson. was a PITA to install, if you don't get it EXACTLY aligned correctly going over the rear cross member, it will either chatter on the member or if it's up too high, hit on a bolt from the seat. i don't know if it's just my setup, but when you close the doo...
I added a nice one made by Pioneer (ND-BC1). It has a fish-eye lens and gives very good coverage of what's behind you. I have mine setup just above the license plate (to the left, just below the chrome trim) and it's angled enough so that I can just see my trailer ball - makes hitching up VERY easy.
^^^ ummmm maybe you might want to stick to vwvortex ;) anyways, those pics have been MOST helpful. they definetly show a difference between the US models and basically all the other countries (that got cooler accessories). there's gotta be some kind of cover out there (or at least a reason why Nissa...
can you please post more details on this.... p/n, etc. $470 is definetly spendy for a roll up cargo cover, but $200-$250 might be reasonable. It seems like every model except Canadian & US models got this 'option'. If you look at Nissan Australia's website, they list the cover as a 'cargo blind'...
take the lower glove box out - it's only got 4 screws holding it on. the filter box is behind it. open the little door, pull out the first filter. the 2nd one will have to slide to the left and then out. if you park under trees, you'll probably find some little leaves in there, so keep a vacuum hand...
I ended up putting in the same IVA-W200 deck, with a PAC TR7 video bypass, Alpine Bluetooth module, Alpine amp for the speakers, amplified 10" Bazooka EL tube, and reverse camera.
i think i had the same squeek when my system first got installed. the noise would happen at idle (barely) and i would actually here it when i closed the doors. my mechanic and I traced it to a flange connection about about the 1/2 way point in the system (just before the muffler I think). using a pi...
i installed the Gibson cat-back about 4 months ago and have actually been pretty disappointed with it. definetly noisier - noisy enough that it makes calls on my headset difficult. once it heats up, there's definitely rattles and knocks. the pipe that transitions over the rear axle knocks on the axl...
