I mounted the antenna today on the rear passenger window and it seems to work just fine. I just avoided mounting it over any of the in-glass am/fm antenna wires.

Thanks...I was thinking along those same lines as well but thought I'd see if anyone had the answer from the manufacturer.

ALSO, if anyone has success/failure on using thru-glass antennas on the rear windows I'd like to hear about that as well!

Thanks!!!

08 Rear Window Tinting & External Antenna Question

Does anyone know if the rear side windows or tailgate factory window tinting is a metal-based tinting or something non-metalic integrated into the glass? I'm about to add an on-glass antenna for my fire department radio and it specifically states not to add this type of antenna to windows with "...

You're probably right on just running the 2nd fill valve from the kit.

My thought is that it would be easier/faster just to fill the 2 bags together...and it would insure that the pressure is equal throughout the system vs trying to get it equal one side at a time.

Airlift Inline Valve

I recently added the popular Airlift rear spring airbag kit to my Path, using the single-inflation valve method which has definately helped with the rear spring softness. However, I'd like to add an inline valve to the system that will allow me to fill/adjust the system via the single inflation valv...

I just had the same thing happen in regards to the VDC light coming on and staying on after a battery disconnection. I replaced the stock stereo with a Kenwood multimedia headend and when I reconnected the battery after the install - sure enough the VDC light was lit and would not shut off. I though...

Yeah...I've noticed that for a lot of these 'custom' manufacturers "Coming Soon" means longer than the life of your actual vehicle! That front bar is either an in-house custom job (possibly on the Coming Soon radar), or just a stock one from another manufacturer that they painted red (my g...

Well, considering this particular model is pretty cheap for what you get, it's not all that bad (though one always hopes that a new item actually looks "new"). If the rain will hold off on Friday, I should get the thing mounted up top...hopefully...before the temps go below freezing again ...

Roof Lighting Wiring

I'm getting ready to mount my safari basket and basket-mounted off road lighting on my Pathfinder. Does anyone have any tips/tricks/suggestions as to how to run the wiring for the lighting from the engine compartment to the roof?

THANKS!!

For light mounting...I did some digging and Warrior Products makes aux offroad light moutning brackets for various diameter tubing...including the 1" that this particular rack is made with. It look like about $40 for a pair of brackets. The new rack was indeed waiting for me when I made it home...
