Ya no kidding...... I dont think I would feel comfortable even with 4500# behind the Patrhfinder. You would be going 25mph up the hills around here.

Sorry I didn't clarify, I could not tow my boat with a Pathfinder.... it's 5000#. My F150 V8 got tossed around with it on the back. I cant imagine how the Path would react. I don't have brakes on my quad trailer, it stops "ok".

Depends on the boat ramp. I have needed to put it in 4wd several times, but my boat weighed more. That might have made a difference. Being a tilt trailer might help the sag. Its designed to tilt back drive onthe quad, lower it down.. Even with the quad loaded, I can raise and lower the trailer with 2 fingers. No bags installed yet. That picture shows my light trailer and quad. Quad is #800 and the trailer is approx #1600.

Here is the quad in the small trailer. No squat but it was still soft. I will get the bags ordered hopefully this weekend.

I cant answer any of your questions but did look into switches. THe factory switches are like $50 +a little. Everything I could find had printed icons for heated seats and such. I did this as backup plan. Its not perfect, but looks decent and only cost a few bucks. http://i226.photobucket.com/albums...

I towed with the Path for the first time today. Loaded quad trailer around 3500#. I need to add airbags in the rear! It was a little bouncy. The airlift bags say 4X4. Can this be installed on a 4X2? Any differences between the Firestone Coil-Rite and Airlift?

Welcome, I live in Mesa and recently purchased a white 08 just like yours...... I know the exact sound you are referring to, unfortunately I have no idea what it is. My Path does the exact same sound that yours does. I havent looked at the cause yet.

Haven't done much on the Path since the Mediagate player install. I added some rear lights under the bumper to hitch up the trailer at night.
