Now its all settled i think for the price it has done some good. I dont see the same amount of diesel acceleration soot from zorst, and pulling away is smoother. I still fancy having it remapped, as i find 1st and second still all rev and no go lol, some more torque in those gears would be nice. Not...

Well got the bottle of ‘revive’ out today, which is apparently like the sea foam additive, something we here in the UK struggle to get. The bottle of fluid is 750ml which is marked in three segments, After removing the air intake after the MAF, the engine is started and kept at 2500 rpm whilst A...

Well that’s all done, so new bottom wishbones and today fitted the rear shocks, Monroe adventure. Apart from it doesn’t seem to wander on the road so much, it’s hard to tell if there’s an ‘amazing’ difference. Time will tell with the family all bundled in and the hound also in the back ð...

Turbo de-Soot

When i was having a under the bonnet 'tidy up' and clean I had noticed the turbo feed pipe, the rubber just before was all oily, took the pipe off and it wasnt to bad inside. I know, and have read about cleaning with seafoam, but its lke rocking horse poop here, so hadn't bothered. But a local garag...

Monroe Adventurers ordered.

I believe better than OEM, but not as hard as the offroad versions, a nice compromise.

the new wishbones being done today, new eccentric bolts and i'll do the rear shock before having alignment done.

Hopefully will notice a difference.

Its not one of the 3 switches on the transfer box and gearbox?

There is one next to the neutral position switch and two on the transfer box.
These wear and cause issues. Worth a check maybe??

The BCM fuse box is the square box in front the firewall, on UK trucks its the passenger side. Have you checked the earths? Often i found after a winter the connections needed a good clean and was usually my trailer connection which had a dodgy earth despite using electrical vasaline type gell on th...

All booked in for next week to have the entire wishbone to be replaced. Have ordered new eccentric bolts cam nuts x 4 from Milner Off-road so they are new and can be adjusted easily for alignment after it’s all done. Gonna compliment the front end with some monroe rear shocks as I think they are a...

Bottom wishbones

Having the bottom front wishbones renewed next couple of weeks. The bottom ball joints are shot, and on inspection the wishbone bushes are too. So it makes sense to do the job in one. Question is are the wishbones just bolted on or do they have the cams too? Lower wishbones. Cos if so I may as well ...

Not that I was turning the dial at the time of starting the truck, but earlier In the day I had reset the mileage to zero, so wonder when the lights were off, and then at dawn the auto lights came on and the button had stuck a li...

I think a 32†is the biggest in that gap, I did have a 20†in there
but it kept steaming up, hence the swap to the slightly larger one 😀

Don’t know how to alter the dash backlight.
But was just turning the ignition on to drive off as
normal when it pinged up.
