Old, old threads about this. "Search." There are also "Sticky" service manuals at the top of the R51 thread. Take a look. Initiative is golden around here.

Again, that looks like a crappy re-paint. If that's truly original factory paint, a lot of us are in for serious problems!

I bought with 50k on it, but it was one owner and i met the lady who traded it in. That would be a hard color to blend there would be some sign that it was sprayed. Lots of people have had problems with roof channels chipping and i've seen fenders on frontiers chipping and peeling all factory paint...

Re: What gas do you use? premium or regular?

[quote="dine52Hi buddy Using premium gas will not affect the engine that will get rusted or soon with low quality gas. Moreover, less carbon content will be less harmful when we consider environment. And even you can enjoy better mileage with such options. Hope you will have a better ride.[/quo...

Nope thats factory paint, but its not down to bare metal......yet. I noticed it at the start of winter and it survived all the salt so i guess i'm safe from rust for now. Are you sure that hood hasn't been re-painted? Did you buy the PF new? I'm way skeptical that factory paint would do that. Sorry...

I don't thinks so. What works on a 4x4 should work on 2wd. Negative to that. At least on the '06, the rear springs are, in fact, different. I can't speak for the shocks, not having looked into it. The fact that the springs are different is why AirLift recommends using the airbag kit they designed f...

Discount Tire, if there's one around, will rebuild/replace all four for $10 a piece. At least, that's what I paid when I bought my Michelins from them in January.

Re: Update: Michelin LTX M/S2

What skinny2 said. As some of you who follow my irregular postings may have read, I recently cashed in a set of prematurely worn Michelin Cross Terrains for the MX2's. I had hoped for better mileage . . . the C/T's only got 30K on 'em at 4/32's! I've only rolled up about 600 miles on the MX's, but a...

Is that located behind the stereo or in the back somewhere. Pulling the stereo looks pretty easy. Thanks If the loose connection is on the head unit end, you're good. Not a big issue. But if it's in the rear of the truck, where two leads feed into a primary going to the head unit, that's a royal PI...

I had the same problem on my 07. When the dealer fixed it they put some kind of spacer behind the chrome tailgate handle/trim. Now it does not sit tight against the metal, supposedly they have found this will keep it from happening again. There's a TSB on that that's been out for at least two years.
