My mechanic friend once told me to turn the rotors every time you change the pads. He's not the kind to tell you things, so that he could charge you more. I haven't seen my insurance doc lately, but I do recall they're pretty close to each other. I think the difference for 6 months is $100 or so.

....I think im going to go with an SE with 35,000 instead, or maybe a murano for the gas mileage. What do you guys get in a 4x4 on the highway?.... I'm getting 19+ mpg from my '09 SE 4x4. My commute of 30 miles each way is almost all highway. My wife drives '09 Murano SL... While the ride is very s...

Shocks wouldn't give to additional support that rear needs. Supporting the rear is still depended upon the springs. Shocks are dampeners. If you really want to stop the bottom out, airbag or something similar should be the way to go. (I think there was someone who went for alternative choice to airb...

....the 4runner actually does it's uppr range in MPG 19-20 mpg.... What year and what size engine does this 4Runner is/have? And, how much does 4Runner weigh? Pathfinder has a pretty large engine, and is pretty heavy. If you're comparing the heavy Pathy to a lighter vehicle w/ smaller engine, obvio...

I don't remember when and where, but I do recall reading an article about testing speedmeter on vechiles from multiple manufacturers. ...their speedmeters...domestics & imports all consistently showed slower than the actual speed...measured by the radar gun. I also do not recall what the respons...

Post the pictures w/ the kit installed as well as your experience/impression, please. It might cost twice as much as airbags, but it is nice/good to have options.

It almost sounds like shifting to 2nd or 1st only putting your gear into neutral.

If you put it in 2nd on the downhill and if you step on gas (I know it's not something you'd want to do), will your Pathy responds (accelerate)?

Thanks for sharing. THAT was awesome. Sometimes it's good to listen to other people's advices... And learn from their mistakes... I added this to the Pathy today: VERY good idea. I have been telling myself to have one in my vehicle; I still haven't done so. Gotta get one before it's too l...

My local PepBoys had seat covers that were designed specifically for seat with airbag. I can't find it on PepBoys.com. Their web site kind of sucks when it comes to searching stuff.
