STS are remote mount , like turbo located where the muffler is ...Yea, a gain in HP , but not the most efficient setup that could be done ... I guess if your just looking for some extra HP it would work .... But for the $$ alot more HP could be had ....

Most of the 350Z kits could probably be adapted over ... Fuel management would be the only issue .... Personaly the SC would be a better setup for the Path ... more low end grunt !!

Only thing that gets to me is the rear squat under acceleration .... would be ok if I was desert racing , but on the street it needs to be stiffer in the rear ...

And yea, better Gas mileage would be a plus ... but we get better mileage with the Pathfinder than we EVER did with the '01 SC Frontier !!

You dont have to put the whole thing back together to do the comp. tes...

Thanks Shawn, some of the local transmission shops are trying to sell me on aftermarket transmission filters. Not a lot of price but would it be effective to a Nissan automatic transmission in the long run. . Probably wouldnt hurt , but you would have to be sure to change it with fluid changes .......

Re: Transmission filter

I've looked through the service manual for reference to a transmission filter but haven't found anything. Do any know for sure if there is an internal filter or does Nissan just use a screen. The R51 uses no filter or screen. Huh ... Nissan P/N 31728 7S11A is the filter for the R51 A/T trans. ... B...

Yeah, only the CAI and headers. I suppose it is because the PF seems the least sport/offroad oriented of the midsize trucks/SUVs. I mean, the third row addition kind of shows the mentality. Of course with the exception of the wheels and shocks, most of the Xterra/Frontier parts are MT related. Does...
