Looks really nice ... really clean !! I have been wanting to do something about the big ugly Nissan emblem ... looks like ill have to look into that grille !!
THANKS !! I have been looking at that for a while now , after seeing it advertised in Nissan Sport ..... Looks like some really nice low to mid gains !! That will be my next mod for mine ...
.... No .. you will want to replace it ... I suggest every 15K ... I did mine at 20K and it was NASTY !!! Remember with the windows up all the air inside the vehicle goes through the filter ..
I have seen a couple clutch fan failures causing the fan to run at full speed all the time ...sounds like what your talking about ...or yea, belt idler/tentioner bearings seem to be comon also ..
Where did I see the writeup on the Intake spacer that made good power ?? I thought it was in Nissan Sport Magazine ?? I know thats different that a T/B spacer ... But I was curious to see any real time results ...
NA I was on Hawks website and they had nothing for the F Alpha midsizers, only the Titan and Armada... I have EBC's on my WR but depending on the compound I can burn em up in a month. Anyone else have to have their rotors turned? Twice in the first 30k... They have been fine since but thats enough ...
Pretty sure the Off Road Pathfinder is basically the same as the Nismo Off Road Frontier ... Rear suspension is going to be a bit different due to the Path being independent .... But over all the same additions ...
I ran Hawk HPS on my '01 Frontier CC SC .... they were miles better than the other 3 sets of pads I had used ( stock, Akebono Ceramic , Akebono PRO ACT Ceramic ) .... Ill be running them on my Path once it needs brakes .....
I also run Hawks on all my other cars ....Love them ...
The Frontier guys always saw gains with the electric fan ... I could see 1 MPG or so in doing it , esp down the freeway ... no fan to spin and no need for the electric fan ... I am not sure if it would be worth it as far as $$ goes ... the fans are $$$ and the savings would not be huge ... probably ...
Yea, dont worry about them ... they will usualy last the life of the vehicle ... unless you never change oil ... My Altima had 190K and had never been done ... I checked them once around 170K when I replaced my valve cover and they were fine .... I did have to do them on my Race motor , only because...
First thing I can think of is to replace the steel spare wheel with a lighter aluminum wheel .... yea, just remove the Hitch if you dont use it ... remove the rear jump seats if you dont use them ... other than that your looking at mabie replacing the carpet with a lighter carpet without the sound d...
We have ran 87 in the Pathfinder since new ... No issues at all .... ( we do run premium if we are towing ) Just regular 76 station 87 octane any other time ...
Should be a direct bolt on .... I looked into those a while back but i couldnt get any clear answers as if they were truly a NISMO wheel ... Now I know they are, made by Enkei ( Enkei has a similar wheel out in 6x4.5 ) ... as far as working with VDC ... I cant see why they wouldnt .. I think they we...
