They've really got that engine torn down. I hope they can get it all back together correctly. I think I'd want a long block at this point!

Go back and make sure all the connections are correct and that the mass air flow sensor is facing the correct direction of the air flow and is plugged in.

If you're still under warranty then don't settle for a flush. I think the coolant will have done permanent damage to the trans even if things seem ok for now if they attempt to flush it.

It depends on how you've been driving prior to the fill up. On the highway it will say 300+ miles to empty but if I fill up after driving around town it's in the 280 range.

It's taking an average of your recent driving history.

2002 and previous 4Runners are the best. 2003 to 2009 not so great. 2010 we'll have to see? I don't know about that. I had a 99 Supercharged 4Runner 4x4 and my 08 Pathy kills it. I have more space for people and cargo. I'm much quicker. I can tow a hell of a lot more. I can come to a stop much more...

You may want to go through these re-set procedures. Just an FYI...you will need to do these procedures if you clean your trottle body. www.discounttire.com is a good place to start looking. If price is a concern the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 gets a pretty decent review. I have not personally run them but I've been looking into what my next tire will be as well. I use mine on the street 99.9% of the time so I'm looking into the Kumho...

There's no good way to release them, you just have to gently pull on the cover. A screw driver may scratch the paint on the quarter panel.
