A few people have installed the 275/70 R18 which is 33.15 x 10.6. Only melt is fine for going straight and avoiding bumps, but I had to cut inches of plastic from the bumper and bend over an inch of sheet metal out of the way to keep them from rubbing under more harsh driving conditions, i.e. turnin...

Re: toe adjust bushings

I just found that company last night. I am going to buy a set of the rear toe adjustment bushings that are the inner bushings for the control arm that supports the spring. I think that there is enough camber adjustment in the a-arms, just not enough toe adjustment after the fact. Those two bushings...

Pathfinder-specific LED Light Bar

I built my own light bar, precisely the width of the Pathfinder roof, and designed not to shine into the sunroof.
There is a lengthy build thread on the LED forum, it's probably better to link to it than duplicate the whole thing.

Do you think it would be possible to bolt the caliper to the inside of the spindle instead of the outside?
To move the caliper inboard and eliminate the need for the wheel spacer.

My oversized tires will rub even worse if I add spacers.

Sorry I haven't replied. We had a baby. Daycare is 1.5 brake upgrades per month.

I switched to Bilstein 4600s in the rear and think they are too soft. I hit the bump stops all the time. The 5100s in the front are great. I feel the factory shocks are too short and don't provide enough travel or droop, even for stock ride height. When I installed my 1.5 inch spacer lift in the rea...

Drive it on the highway and see how it handles bumps. Pathfinders tend to jump all over the road as the suspension wears.

Calico Mountains, California

As I drove out onto this 110 year old platform, unable to see anything but the valley below, I realized, "I really don't have any common sense." https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4503/37489970140_07cf2d0eb1_b.jpg https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4486/37716484102_c0df3a6773_b.jpg Calico Mountain...

How to Paint and Color Fill Emblems - Ghost Style

The front emblem was done the same way. I just took more detailed pictures of the rear emblem. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4231/35495682221_f93de57c57_b.jpg I scuffed the surface with ScotchBite brown pad, then painted the whole thing satin black. The last coat was laid on thick. The wet paint fa...

Just removed the middle seat. Can any one tell how to fill the two holes which are open. I have the 6 screws back but still have two ooen holes under the seat. Auto parts stores should have hole plugs like this: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/MTM0/02411.oap?ck=Search_plastic+plug_-1_3065&...

Color Match Chrome Hatch Handle

Color Match Chrome Hatch Handle I blacked out all the chrome, but the hatch handle looked like a big moustache, so I thought color matching would be best: https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4079/34762828454_14aa062c9b_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4273/34762828704_0cdf85cf6d_b.jpg https://c1.static...

But why didn't you just take the badges off with dental wire? Probably quicker than masking like that. I considered that approach, but while removing the badges like that is quick, removing the adhesive tape from the car is not so quick and removing the adhesive from the badges, cutting new bits of...
