<t>It is a common modification here by us to blank off the EGR. TAs we don't have strict emission policing here, it is not a problem really. Not sure if you will get into trouble over there if you do it. You guys have yearly MOTs that include an emission test, don't you? The function of the EGR is t...

What can you tell us about the diesel? Is it a turbo? What kind of power does it make? How well does it tow?
170kW (230HP) and NM of torque. The 3.0Diesel (Code-name VX9) is turbocharged.

No problems to report. Towed with it the first time last weekend and it does not look like a hyena with something on the tow-hitch. Ride feels better as well.

NVSteve - Does yours work the same way? Or does yours just light up when you got the truck into the right conditions and it activiated? I popped it into 4Lo and hit the switch while parked on flat pavement. The light comes on. Same here. It means it is active and ready for use. Once the conditions ...

Excuse the crappy cellphone pics, but this is what the instrument cluster looks like when HDC is engaged. Unfortunately I could not get it working as it is too flat around the area I stay in.

I am also interested in this feature but just to get this correct. The 4 lo has to be engaged and the vehicle has to be on a relatively steep incline, so a signal from the gyro in the stability has to be operating. What is the incline angle? I might be mistaken, but I don't think it has a gyro or d...

Stupid question here. So you guys buy the switch and then connect it to the harness. Right? For HDC to engage, the vehicle has to be in 4L and be running down a steep decline for the HDC to engage. If the incline is not steep enough and the vehicle is not "running away", it will not engage...

Same thing happened to me last week. Got a call from the wife to say the Pathy would not start. Got home and diagnosed a flat battery. Jump started it and went to have a new battery installed. After the installation those lights were on and would not clear themselves. Drove to the Nissan dealer and ...

I bypassed my in radiator tranny cooler a few weeks ago. Whilst driving around town with nothing hooked up to the towbar, the tranny cooler temperature is such that I can keep my finger on the cooler. It is not very hot. This weekend I had my caravan hooked up and did a lot of mountain passes in 92F...

I would recon US$27250 at today's exchange rate. That would be without the extras like batteries, LPG bottles, fridge, solar panel etc.

Wow, very nice. Welcome. You can cure the squating by installing the AirLift 1000. It costs about US$ 90 and installs in less then an hour. Here is a thread for it. http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?t=6109&sid=a9674a6b873269390ac3c02f52648dea Yup. Got it on my wishlist at Amazon. Buyin...

Off into the bush with our Echo Kavango offroad caravan. 2400 pounds dry, guess close to 3500 with water, batteries, booze, food etc. :D

Hi from sunny South Africa.

Hi My name is Martin and I've been lurking for years now. Married with 2 kids and work in the mining industry, programming control systems. Replaced my '07 Navara (I think you call it something else) with a '08 2.5D AT Pathy. Love the outdoors and no better way of exploring than in a 4x4. What lured...
