Same thing happens to me. When the a/c kicks on, you can tell. It seems its a strain on the engine even the battery gauge moves. I was thinking mounts too.

The badge is simple enough to remove. A lot of the Kia Optima owners are debadging their cars in order to put the new Kia "K" logo on, which makes it really look like a Lexus. There's a good video on YouTube about it. Basically use some fishing string between the car and the emblem and a w...

Re: rattles and a squeak fixes

My newly purchased used PF2012SV has only 28kmiles but quite a few squeaking and rattling spoots that I started to work on. First I am addressing a most annoying back door light metallic rattle that I thought was coming from the dealer loose licence plate frame, but that was not it. I had to remove...

Anyone have a squeaky rear door?

Whenever I drive over some bad roads (pavement) I get a squeaky/ rattling sound from the rear cargo door. Today, I had a friend in the back to try and pinpoint the noise. It's coming from the bottom area of the door...maybe the latch area or whatever is rattling inside the plastic area of the door, ...

I've been using Anco winter blades. All year round. Since we typically only get thunderstorms in the summer here, they really aren't used much in the warmer months. The reason I use these in the winter is that the metal framing is not exposed, meaning the ice and snow will not stick to them, build ...

honestly "the rub" when running 285/65/18 isn't -that- bad. it mainly rubs in the back of the wheel well, but a little heat gun work and carving out a little from the mud flaps takes care of that. and really if you just wait about 15-20k miles your tires should wear enough that the rub go...

How much difference is there between a 275/65R 18, 275/70R 18, and a 275/75R 18?

I was planning on using the same tire height as stock..but now I'm thinking a 275/70r 18 or 275/75R 18 won't rub, with a 2-2.5 inch lift??

Shouldn't they be about the same height? Both 65R? The diff between 275 and 285 is what, like half an inch. Also these have a more aggressive tread than the KO's Doctajones is running....

That's why I was hoping for pics!

What type of rear lift springs are they? HD or medium? Are these the same that are back ordered on the 4x4.com site?

UPDATED * New Shoes BFG's TA/ KO 275/65R/18

I had noticed the rubbing issues and potential alignment issues in jumping up from the stock wheels to 285/65R 18's some of the guys on here have experienced. I was wondering if anyone was running this set up. I have a 2010 LE V6, I'd like to powder coat the stock rims. I am contemplating the 2-2.5 ...

Re: Rancho Suspension - NIB

Well, the Pathy has been traded in, so I'm getting rid of the stuff I bought, but did not have time to install. Everything here is NEW. I would like to sell the following as a complete package: 2 x Rancho RS9000XL rear shocks (RS999312) 2 x Rancho Quick Lift Loaded front shocks (RS999922 and RS9999...
