Trailer Weight

Looking for some help on a trailer I am thinking of buying: it is a 14' Tadem Axle trailer. Looks like a car hauler. This summer I pulled a 16' trailer that was a tadem axle and was super heavy. Does anyone have any idea from these pic what they guess this weighs? http://i919.photobucket.com/albums/...

Is it the soft fabric one? I tried one of those at first.....absolute garbage. I made it 5kms on the highway before the first strap broke. And the thing was so noisy it sounded like the roof was being ripped off. I wasn't impressed at having to spend $400 on the hard plastic one but I have to admit...

Were you hauling the bikes to The Gap?? I've got the 4X4 V6 and have no problems towing a 16 foot trailer loaded down with 3 ATVs and 3 dirt bikes. It's only @ 2500lbs of weight but I barely notice the trailer is even there. As a matter of fact I was. We go down ever labor day. I had a 16' trailer ...

Which direction are you driving? i went from Indiana to MI this weekend and reset the on board computer before I headed north. It usually gets 16.5 mpg. There was a bad head wind out of the north and I averaged 14.8 on the drive up. My average speed was between 70-80. on the way back south averaging...

when i bought mine, the dealer gave me free oil changes for the however long I own the vehicle. they service it about every 3600 miles. The bill i get says it would cost me ~27 bucks.

otherwise I do all my other oil changes.

I have the V8 and it pulls very well. I pulled a 18' well built(heavy) trailer with 3 motorcycles on it from Indiana to North Carolina and it did not have any problems are all going through the mountins in KY and TN.

plenty of power.

PATHFINDER on top

I bought my 08 pathy this summer and didn't notice it at the time, but mine does not say PATHFINDER on the roof rail....

Did they stop putting it on there or do you think the previous owner took it off?

I ordered up the Ultima products, so I'll post back whenever I get around to applying the stuff. I've found a few Brits on other forums who swear by the stuff, and that's coming from overly anal people who wash their cars every week, wax every month & probably don't drive in inclement weather a...
