something else i forgot to mention.... while one of the fronts is -brand- new and the other already has ~1k miles, neither of them give me frame rub at all. it's very strange why it doesn't and i can't figure it out as my last ones would still rub just -barely- at full lock right up until i had them...

Yup, 285/65/18 fits in the spare area on the factory le rim. Sometimes you have to help it get into the correct position, but it certainly fits...

technically, anytime your change a suspension component you should get an alignment...

but it really comes down to if it's changing your ride height at all. if it's an even swap or 1/2in you should be fine for a couple of weeks. if you're going 1.5-2in , then get it done asap.

yeah i originally plastidip'd them, but in the last few months i stripped off the almost 2yr old plasti and painted them.

once you go black, you'll never go back..... no really. i did the plastidip and loved it. figured the plasti wouldn't last too long and that i would paint them....took almost 2 years for the original plasti coating to deteriorate enough to warrant the paint. now that i've painted them i LOVE it even...
