Re: Smithy's R51 Pathfinder (Pic Heavy)

Nice Big Horns, I almost picked up a set of the MT-762 Big Horns for my Pathy. I believe what you have is the MT-764? I decided to go with the RAZR MT-772 though. What size are your tires?

Re: Weight of OEM Wheels

I ended up buying a set of Maxxis RAZR MT 772s in 275/70/18 which comes out to 33.2x10.8R18 vs the stock tire size 265/60/18 - 30.5x10.4R18. Going with tall and "skinny" instead of tall and wide. Hopefully it'll clear the fender lining and no modifications needed to anything else since it ...

Re: 2005 Rear shock bottom bolt issue - cannot get out

I had to do something similar to this on my front control arms on my Frontier about a year ago. Go with a nice expensive blade like Diablo from Home Depot. Don't cheap out and go with something from Harbor Freight. Don't ask me how I know.

Re: Softer springs for the front end?

Sorry if I mistake you for someone else on here, but if you're the one asking about mods and making more power. You should go stiffer and not softer. The rear can be softer to distribute the weight to the rear wheels on a launch.

You'll still gain some power with a larger catback. However, it will be beneficial by going with high flow cats with that larger catback. Why stop there? Throw on some headers too. If you live in an area where you don't have to smog or have any emissions inspections at all...go with a custom straigh...

Thanks for the share, I just found out that my rear right window doesn't work from the master switch nor the rear door. Hopefully just full with grime that needs to be cleaned off by looking at and cleaning the Pathy from the last week.

Weight of OEM Wheels

I've been searching and searching and not one thing has ever been mentioned about the weight of our factory wheels. Anyone weighed their oem rims without tires before? I'm looking into moving down to some 17" aftermarket wheels for better MT tire selection, but would like to make sure I'm "...

Thanks buddy, trying to extend the life of this Pathy as most of the rust seems to be surface rust on the frame only so someone else gets a chance to play with it if some day I decide to move on from it. Before picking up this one, there was a 2wd V8 LE near San Diego that the owner was trying to ge...

Any luck with the body mounts? I plan to replace the 6(suppose to be 8, but Nissan discontinued 1) on my 2002 Frontier too. I was thinking about just letting a shop have at it if I can find a trustworthy shop that can do the job for a reasonable price.

Looks great! I used a cleaning kit on my wife's 2004 Corolla about 5 years ago and the headlights are scuffed, dull, and turning yellow again. I just need to replace the headlights on her Corolla. The only two solutions I know of that works is to replace the headlights and after polishing the headli...

Definitely going to scrape & sand the frame as best as I can, then paint the rust retardant on. Once that part is done, I'll go over the frame with chassis black paint or maybe the rubberized coating. I'm in CA in the lower desert where its dry 99% of the year, I may stick with chassis black pai...

Since no other information was provided on the history, ownership, and maintenance of your vehicle. I'll throw it out there that you have air in your brake system. Needs a good bleed.

Copart Buy - 2011 V8 4x4

Hello All, I recognize two members on here from other Nissan forums I'm also on or were on, smj999smj(ClubFrontier) and palmerwmd(Freshalloy). I made a decision to pick up an east coast "rust belt" buy a few weeks ago on copart and it finally arrived. Less than half the cost of a West Coas...
