Re: Headers for V8

Typical "excuse" will be that the flange is another place where your exhaust can leak and/or that "they" don't make gaskets for it anymore or they couldn't find any that will work. I see that as incompetence and lack of communication on their part which leads to bad customer serv...

Have you tried a vice grip directly onto the stripped nut and just take the stud out with it?

Re: Spindles very rusted

My 2011 had spindles that looked like that. Personally it could have been left like it was, but it visually bothered(I've lived in the Southwest all my life) me so I bought some replacement spindles on Ebay.

Re: 2" lift UCA question 2008 V8

You haven't mentioned if you're sticking with stock tire sizes. If you move up to 33" tires, I suggest you go with aftermarket UCAs that add a little caster. The rear seems to be different for everyone, but the end solution always tend to be adjustable bushings for the rear UCA or gussets weld...

Re: Copart Buy - 2011 V8 4x4

It's all surface rust so I just hit it with some wire brushes and wire wheels then used the AGS Rust Paint over it. I picked up a 2008 that had more modifications and since I'm too lazy to swap the parts over to the 2011, I'm gonna end up cleaning up this 2011 some and post it for sale once my 2008 ...

I suggest just getting a new one from the local dealership, order one, OR hit the local pick-a-part.

Personally, if you've been fine with 265/70 for over a decade. No need to do it now with a chance of losing some mpgs.

Not quite sure what you're saying, but caliper pin boots are in the rear where the caliper pin bolts go.

Yep, once I get a chance to open the box. I'll measure the HD Ironman spring lengths for you.

The King springs are in the rear.

Re: Standard Aftermarket Coilover vs Titan Swap w/ Aftermarket Coilover

Don't know how I missed your post in here. Sorry! You are correct, the owner that custom the bumper, roof rack, and tire carrier use to build bike racks. I wish he would have built some sliders also while he was at it LOL I do like his custom front bumper. I may actually add a hoop to the front to p...

Re: OME lift bad drive experience

Sorry, I didn't. I thought I may have taken pictures of it side by side with the stock springs, but I couldn't find any photos of that either. My Ironman springs should be here tomorrow. I can measure those for you too. If only you had asked a few weeks ago, I did have one of my OME springs out.
