Re: We finally have crack resistant manifold solution for the V8s!

I wonder if their headers with the carb cats has gone through CARB to get it 50 state legal. May have to reach out to them one of these days to ask.

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

I think we're all on the right track. After driving around with my new tires the last couple weeks. Definitely need stiffer springs and the rear shocks may need to be rebuilt. I took a simple turn pretty quick as I always do with my other vehicles and felt like there were no rebound or anything hold...

Re: TPMS sensor question

I don't think the spare tire has a TPMS sensor. I better hope it does or else I wasted money on one for nothing LOL I bought my 2008 and previous owner took out all the TPMS. Is the TPMS readout on the infotainment screen in any particular order? The first sensor on the list is acting up and I was ...

Re: R200 Rear Locker

Rugged Rocks sells the Armada/Titan RCV axles for $2k. I have looked at scenarios like the R180, I would rather have broken CVs than a broken front diff. I do have the M205 in front and even then I'm skeptical since I've read about Titan and Armada front diff failures as well, but I'm also going fro...

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

No, not at all. That was actually one of the first things I inspected as well. All bushings and ball joints look good in the rear.

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

I agree, as I personally experienced that on my 2011 when it was stock. Unfortunately, my issue pertains to a Pathy that already has some lift springs so I'm thinking my springs are too soft because of the additional welded on tire carrier in the rear or it's probably the coil spring insulators. I t...

Re: TPMS sensor question

Out of curiousity, how does one get the spare wheel to register if it also has a TPMS? Or does the module only remember/register 4 at a time?

Re: R200 Rear Locker

I was gonna ask you about your CVs

I haven't seen many R51 off roaders talk about broken CVs at all, but I knew failures were out there.

Sounds like my goal of the RCV axles will happen eventually then.

Re: R200 Rear Locker

Exact reason why I bit the bullet. Bought it now because if the TRE brand starts getting North American recognition...prices may shoot up as well as I think they're also based out of Australia and supposedly they're a well known brand there.

Re: Aftermarket rear view camera?

I was just thinking about this, this past week. Although, my factory one still works fine. I was thinking about adding a multiplexor so I can have 5 cameras up on a single screen or two on my dashboard so if I'm offroading...I have visuals on all 4 sides and the 5th one being at the front on the fro...

Re: R200 Rear Locker

TRE makes electric and air lockers for the R230 diff ; ) https://www.tre4x4usa.com/collections/4x4-parts Reminds me, I have to go update it on the vendor thread in the General section. I have both the M205 and R230 for 3.37 and lower gear ratio on order through TRE. Probably a few more weeks for the...

Re: Yet Another Armada Swap study... no dice.

That last obstacle you did I wouldn't have done alone, especially because I'm still open diff front and rear. My TRE lockers are on order. I can definitely tell in your pictures that the oem had way more droop like you mentioned. I'm currently running 2" spacers(don't like it either, but it'll ...

Re: Rear End Feels Unstable

I have actually not been able to bust the bolts loose for the spring bucket. I tried it with my half inch breaker, but I was afraid of breaking it. I'll have to try to break the bolts loose with my 3/4" breaker. I was planning to try again tomorrow if I have time or next weekend. I would like t...

Re: Yet Another Armada Swap study... no dice.

Thanks for the pictures. That's with the 4" drop bracket and Armada subframe? Even at full droop like that, the CV axle angle looks to be okay.

Re: TSwapping My 2012 Pathfinder

If you're strictly going for looks, stick with a leveling kit, wheel spacers, and SPC ucas for now. I know there's been a few guys that have modified coilovers to make it work with a Titan swap. However, as to what extent of the modifications were needed to make it work is unknown though. There was ...
