Try it anyway, as of now Nissan USA (or North America) extended the warranty on these, maybe Nissan Europe did too?

I received a letter from Nissan yesterday stating that they are extending the warranty on the fuel sender units to 70K miles or 72 months, whichever comes first. Better than nothing but really? That gives me a few months, then I can start worrying about it again

sounds like we're talking about the same thing and just using different words, I've never heard it called a load balancer, but I always bleed farthest from the MC and move closer

If you ran it with a dead alt then your battery is probably dead too, once the alt goes dead you start sucking all of the juice out of your battery until it's drained, try getting a jump, the alty won't charge the battery without the engine running

have you noticed if all your dash lights come on? When the voltage drops below like 11.5 IIRC all your dash lights should come on, if the battery is new that should indicate your alty is toast
