Re: TPS sensor

Good info, I didn't realize I needed to re-register the TPMS when rotating tires. That will be on my list of things to do soon.

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

I'd go with KYB or you can always go with the entry level coilovers that a couple shops sell. I think they're roughly around $600-800 for the entry level.

Re: Does this vehicle look like it had a mild lift?

Yeesh, for $5k though, you can find a higher mileage one that is just as clean or cleaner on the west coast and probably around the $3500-4000 range too.

Re: Wheel Hub

I remember seeing those pictures, my right side doesn't look half as bad as that. I took my sweet time prying the plug off with 3 thin flat head screwdrivers and a plier. I ended up cutting the left side on the wheel bearing side and since I'm still in the process of putting my control arms back on ...

Re: Wheel Hub

Totally agree about the ABS sensor. I damaged the ones on my current wheel bearings. I swapped my old wheel bearings in front out with a pair of brand new Timkens yesterday. Glad these Timken wheel bearings were made in the USA.

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

Ah yes, I was not thinking of the rear for the Pathfinder. I was thinking of the front coilover setup only. My bad

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

I think bottom out is correct. I'm fairly new to the world of lifts myself as I've always been into lowering cars, not lifting trucks. From research, with the 1" spacer, it'll give his Pathy a 1.5" lift. But with that 1" spacer, his shock loses about an inch of travel(plus or minus some depending ...

Re: Pathfinder gear ratio

Correct, theoretically the engine would labor less as the rpm range with higher gear ratios whether via smaller tires, ring & pinion, or transmission gear changes as it'll be nearer to the peak torque. Peak tq on the VQ40 is at 4000 rpm though so you will have to give it some gas on the uphill, but ...

This might help point you in the right direction:

For me, I'd like to move up to 3.36 myself, but essentially aiming for 4.11 since I work close to home.

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

I went the way of "Go big or go home". I have a set of King Shocks Coilovers w/ reservoir waiting to go in and Mevotech/SPC UCAs and OME rear shocks(will probably be swapping out the OME shocks with King also once I get the front squared away) and medium springs with 33" Maxxis MT tires. I mostly do ...

Re: Beating a dead horse

I have seen Blue Lake Offroad through searches. I am pretty sure HeftyFab can make an aluminum front bumper for 05-07 Pathfinders. I do not have any experience with either of them. Both look like quality. Thanks

Re: Any/Max Lift with Bilstein 4600 Shocks?

From my reading on here, clubfrontier, to thenewx; consensus says no. 5100s seem to be the go-to for any type of lift. If it's your daily driver and don't need any or rarely any type of offroading, I'm sure you can get away with the 4600s though. The only way to really know would be to take some ...

Re: Does this R51 FS look lifted to you?

It looks like it might just be the wheels that makes it look lifted. I don't see any fancy colors behind the wheels unless it was a body lift and not a suspension lift? Even the stock rear lower control arm looks like its at the factory angle.
