I wanted the same thing for a spare. I looked around and there's a company called Tactical Armor Group who makes heavy bumpers for all sorts of off-road vehicles. The one for the Pathfinder looks pretty nice and is almost totally customizable. It's a bit pricy, but if you want what others can't offe...

Plan to swap OE 17" for refurb. OE 18"

I have always loved the OE 18" LE rims, and while I like my 17" wheels, I love the 18" LE rims enough to get those. That being said, there are a few options I've thought of. I definitely want to at least get A/T tires. I don't drive it enough to worry about daily driver issues, and re...

Took the Pathfinder (named her Victoria lol) out camping for the second time, this time with my wife. I wanted to try out sleeping in it with 2 people this time and it worked just as well, with the exception of still needing the tent for daytime activities lol. It rained a bit off and on the whole w...

http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc456/SXYS14/IMG_3794.jpg We were messing around at our camp and I thought I'd test the capabilities following the other trucks showing off. I was worried about the ground clearance but didn't have any issues. Edit: that spot of dirt that looks like a burnout was...

National Forest trails

Took my Pathy offroad for the first time in my ownership (and likely the first time for its entire existence considering the previous owners) which was also the first time I've taken anything offroad. I have to say, this was by far the best experience I could've asked for. I had to intentionally get...

Ive got a flowmaster super 44 on mine and it sounds like a beast, tailpipe resonator also cut off and no rasp at all, just clean agressive sound. Nice to know. I was looking up YouTube videos of the sounds of some mufflers but most are Frontiers and I'm not sure if that's completely accurate to the...

I had the VQ30 in my Maxima and loved it. Great sounding, solid engine. I was actually hoping the VQ40 would have the same distinct tone that the VQ35 has but can't actually hear from inside the vehicle. I can spot that tone on a car idling 1/4 mile away haha

photo-sharing website?

It's been a long time since I've been on a forum. I would have thought the general setup would've evolved with the times and added a way to upload photos directly, but I was wrong. What photo-sharing websites do you guys use (photobucket etc, not really sure of any others haha) Something I can uploa...

My buddy's dad died of cancer and nobody knew he had an 850CSI. Drove it very conservatively but I loved it for those 10 minutes.

Very nice. I didn't like the style change they did, and think it needs a lot more to look like a mean off-roading vehicle, and you did just the right things haha.

Off-topic, is the 850 in your name for the BMW 850? Just a thought

That's on my to-do list. I made a note to check the rad for the factory sticker to see if it was replaced and have the Carfax to see if it was ever taken it. It has 84k on it so I plan on taking care of this asap. I bought it from a Nissan dealer locally so hopefully they can share something with me...

Saw it for the first time and test drove it Monday night and bought it then. Took it home Tuesday night. Didn't even see it in the daylight til yesterday. It looks even better in the sun haha. I work from before the sun comes up and travel out if town and don't get home til after sunset so this week...
