Most likely an uninsulated connection shorting out as ice builds ups allowing the hot wire to ground out and blow the fuse. Okay that was the easy part, hard part will be finding that short. I would start at the rear hat...

Nice looking off road play toy. :D Your PF looks just like my 2012, wonder if that means I have to get a play toy to pull behind the my PF.

Interesting, had no idea that the PF would or could apply brakes to help traction (very cool).

Going to get a BuulyDog for my 2012 PF (soon, minor Christmas delay in funds). Don't need any increase in horse power but some extra MPG would be nice. My current trailer weights about 1,200 lbs loaded and folds down lower than the PF so there is no real wind residents.:D

Update to the engine heating up question. Seem to have been either a stuck thermostat or driver error. I thinking it was probably driver error. The PF is heating up with in a couple of miles and that is after sitting outside all night in 40 deg f weather. Took the heat control off of auto and set th...

Knew it had something to do with traction, not sure how it helps. Does it take power from the engine or use extra gas when turned on?

Will have to look into a Bully Dog type add on unit. Maybe I can find one that can help the gas mileage too.

Read about dummy gages somewhere here in this forum. So you are saying that the gages work more like the old idiot lights. The gage only moves after it too late to do any good. That would explain why the gage never moves no matter how hot or cold it is outside. As for add on systems like the Bully D...

Crutchfield has a interface made by usa spec to intergrate your ipod into the factory radio looks like the best option but you must have sat radio option for it to work. That sounds cool, will look into that for hooking up the Ipod in the car. Then again now that I have a SAT radio, not sure I'll n...

The PF is due for its first check up In January, though I don't know why the dealer needs to see a car that will only be three months old. Anyway will have them check the thermostat and adjust the idle a bit higher to stop engine shake. The temp needle holds steady at just a bit below half on the Ga...
