Home made CAI under $50 bucks

Its getting painted black tomorrow. Everything but the filter was bought at Lowes. I did use the straight section of the air box lid for the mass air flow sensor but left enough on the lid so it could be reatached with a rubber grommet. Still in testing I need to make a braket cause the zip ties are...

Is where I live when they put down so much salt its more dangerous than the snow! That is unfair though all of them should be covered regardless! If you bought it used you don't know what state it came from usally!

No, the real money is in leather/vinyl repair and alloy wheel repair if you know what your doing. I try not to mess with plastic scratches at my dealers to much of a pain. Dont use the grian side then if its smooth. Mine is carpeted in the rear. 120 grit was just an example. Like i said I wouldn't use the tourch inside the car unless you like pathy-toast!

There are two things you can do. 1st is a heat gun and something to press with that has a light grain like 120 grit sandpaper. 2nd and also the fastest way is a propane torch not a big one and turn it on low then sweep across the scratched area. You should be able to drive in 4H all the time since its an open front diff. At least thats what i am under the impression of so correct me if i'm wrong.
