My 06 has 42k on it pulled the maf yesterday and cleaned it, the truck runs better now the idle is much smoother and it dosent hesitate under full throttle. no problems with the fuel sending unit, the ac blower is busted though and she rattles like a bean can but thats it :D

dirty mass air flow sensor

so a couple days ago i cleaned the mass air flow sensor in my toyota matrix and man was it dirty, so the pathfinder is about 6 thousand miles behind the matrix so im thinking i want to clean the maf. Has anyone else had a look at theres? i got 43 thousand miles on it.

In my experience...no measurable difference in gas mileage. Stick with the regular.
i have to differ i can get about 4 more miles to the gallon when running 91 and it runs much smoother.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Over here only two models are available SE & LE, both 4WD and only 1 engine, the 4.0L petrol. Not so big on Diesels here. diesel's are ok but there far from exciting not really good on straight bits of road Never had a diesel then? Would like to see your truck again...

i thought the light comes on if no one is in the seat or if a child is in the seat. And once some one over a certain weight sits in it the light goes off indicating that the passenger air bag is on.
