I hoping to avoid the dealership but that may be my best option. I am going to pick up 7 quarts of Amsoil Universal ATF to do the drain/fill on the tranny and transfer case. I am a believer of Amsoil. You're going to need all 7 quarts? I mean is it the accurate measurement? I took a bucket and fill...

I got my Pathy back from the repair shop on Friday. I had a limited window of opportunity to get it done because the high school my wife works at starts soon, and I could not be down one car with both of us working. I would have taken pawjr74 up on his offer, but I don't have rental coverage or else...

It looks really good. I wish they had one of these for the Pathy:

Re: '06 Off Road struts vs. Standard SE struts.....

The time has come to replace my front struts , I am trying to decide on running the stock SE struts or go with the Off Road Struts .... They are the same $$ ... so its all down to has anyone driven both ?? I would like a little stiffer setup ... I am going with the Rancho 9000 series 9 way adjustab...

I recently did the drain and fill on mine. I had a shop do a complete flush on my Titan, and it seemed to do more harm than good. That's why I opted for the drain and fill with the Pathy. It was fairly easy to do. It took four quarts of Amsoil Universal ATF, and now it seems to shift a lot better th...

You say that you are doing the transfer case and diff, then you say you are buying universal ATF and doing the trans and transfer. The diffs are different oil to the transfer case and that is different to the transmission. I might have misunderstood but I did my front and rear diffs with 75-90w syn...

Gasket for Transfer Case/Differentials

Where do you guys pick up the gaskets from? The dealer? Auto parts store? I checked with Courtesy, and they have them listed for $2.24 but the shipping is over $11!! Has anyone reused the old gasket and had any issues with it leaking? I need to change the differential fluids along with the transfer ...

If you could somehow prove the bungee cord came from the construction zone, you could try filing a claim with the city's risk management office.

-1 for Salazar Kia Subaru in Avondale Arizona

The sales people at Salazar were pleasant, however, the finance department is an absolute joke. I had a short sale last summer, and it dinged my credit over 120 points dropping me from the mid 700s to the bottom 600s so I knew I would have a difficult time getting a decent interest rate. I got pre-a...

I don't think the oil filter would be the reason for the temperature spike. While I stay away from Fram filters, the Fram Tough Guard filters are okay to use. Amsoil, Wix, Mobil 1, K&N, and Royal Purple are the higher rated aftermarket filters. The main thing is having the anti-siphon valve. Ams...

I've heard of guys on TitanTalk running the Rancho QuickLifts, and they hated them. They said that they wear down too fast which is the same complaint from those with the stock Rancho struts on the OR edition.

Back from Zion National Park - P0442 Code

On my trip up to Zion National Park for a family reunion, I got the service engine light. I stopped at an Autozone to have the code diagnosed but I may have shown up at the wrong time. The lady behind the counter insisted that she run the OBDII reader, and when she got the code she only told me it w...

^^^^^ I agree. I went to one of those auto spas that have the car wash, tint, and tire/lube centers all in one for my tint. I am sure I paid more than I would have with a mobile unit, but I had scheduling conflicts with the mobile units. The guy matched mine, but since the tint is better than the fa...
